We booked a Thursday through Wednesday here. I had saved up for months to take my littles here. The size was fine for me and my two kids. Also the location of the bungalow to the water park was great. However the rest was so disappointing. We got there Thursday evening, the hut is OLD! Which fine, but maybe do some maintenance on the property? The walls of the bungalow are covered in heavy plaster and are quite dilapidated. There also was no internet. The first night we immediately went to the water park for a few hours before they closed and that in its self was a huge letdown. It was so small and only had a couple slides that excited my 6 & 7 year old. When we went back to the room there was no internet so we turned in early. The kids couldn’t watch a cartoon, I couldn’t get service for my phone. Just dead. The next morning, same thing. I contacted the property management. They do not pick up a phone. The only way to speak to them is via text. Which is incredibly frustrating when you’re having difficulty with a feature. From Thursday to Saturday There was basically no Internet. It was able to connect once or twice for a few minutes and then it would immediately go down again.We could not even get through one cartoon when it did come back on. The property management kept saying the main system was in another bungalow. By sunday, I was absolutely fed up. I was disappointed in the room being so worn down. I was disappointed in the waterpark, not being entertaining. I hated the huge piles of trash. I spoke to two of the neighbors during their stay, and they did not have “high speed internet” that the bungalows promise. I almost forgot the best part. The water in the bungalow is salty. I grew up near the beach and it’s exactly like coming out of the sea. So if you make coffee, it’s salt coffee, when you take a shower you never feel clean. The water is salty/nasty. It’s absolutely disgusting! Monday I was working remote and I couldn’t risk not having internet. So ultimately, Sunday morning, we picked up and left and abandoned our vacation for the year, four days early. I think that whoever owns this property needs to rethink their commitment to their customers. Vacations are a luxury that many of us cannot afford. If you advertise that your property has certain features, you need to have them or be available to correct the issue. I wasted hundreds of dollars booking here and I’m so disappointed. At the very least, you could put in a VHS and have movies so that kids could watch something and give their parents a minute to relax. It was such a letdown and they don’t offer you any kind of adjustment because of their failures. They will just let you know that reimbursement don’t happen. Hopefully the owner’s greedy Mitts needed that money more than we needed a vacation.

Absolutely the worst place to stay at. It took forever to unlock the bungalow, then the water pressure sucked could barely take showers. There were 6 of us in a bungalow with little water. Then ac unit froze up so we slept in the heat Absolutely miserable they refused to get an ac tech out or bring us fans to help. Then if that wasn't bad enough we find out our last night there bed bugs. Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed in the view was beautiful the site seeing was spectacular but our stay for the price my friend paid not worth it at all.i do not recommend this bungalow to anyone.

Everything about this place is poor except the view! From the check in moment.. til the time we left!! we couldn’t get our door unlocked for almost 30 minutes on arrival.. then the AC didn’t work right the entire weekend & froze up twice! It got up to 84 in our Bungalow & no lower than 78, with 6 off us,it was MISERABLE!! They wouldn’t bring fans or get a tech out to look at it. There was little to no water pressure to shower or even flush the toilet.. not to mention BED BUGS to top it off!! I will NEVER return back here!! Our overall vacation was amazing, however the place we stayed was terrible!! The pics are very deceiving!! Now we sit at Urgent care for a severe allergic reaction to the bed bug bites!

Super cute, super clean. The door keypad was super easy to remember and use. I'm a barefoot walker when at home so soo nice to walk around on nice clean floors. The rugs had stains but not bad. The kitchen has everything but the food. Lots of dishes. The bathroom separates the main room and the small bedroom. It very nice little bathroom. Clean! Lots of towels provided. T V was very easy to use, the host has already signed you into most streaming sites so play and go. Very nice beds with lots of pillow choices. When leaving everything is provided for you to clean up after yourself. Only had two complaints. But they matter. #1 The main room is hot during the day, the Texas sun hitting the lakeside windows. The AC can only do so much, they do provide fans to help push the air, and the smaller bedroom cooled much quicker. #2 Booked because it was across from the waterpark and restaurant. With free access to the waterpark, but when we went to utilize it they were hosting last last-minute booked private event that the hotel didn't know about. I would recommend and would probably stay again.

I wish I read the reviews before booking. We wanted a bungalow to use for our Jaws On The Water event. They canceled the July 26 show because of bacteria in the lake. Austin stay would not bend with giving me a refund. I get the two are not the same company but for customer service it would have been nice to let me cancel the bungalow. No go. 👎🏾 Then I read about bed bugs in the bungalows 👎🏾👎🏾. I am losing out on a large amount by no fault of my own so it just seems wrong to not even offer a partial refund. You are losing out on future earnings now which would seem a bad business decision. 🤷🏼♀️
