What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives mixed reviews, generally appreciated as a nice local amenity with reasonable entry fees ($6 for residents, $10 for non-residents, and $7 for non-resident children aged 3-12). Visitors often enjoy the slides, ample seating, presence of lifeguards, and the refreshing water, particularly on very hot days. However, several issues are noted. The website lacks clear pricing information, and there are significant concerns about overcrowding, with the main pool sometimes becoming standing-room only. A major complaint involves incidents where sick patrons (e.g., a child throwing up multiple times) were not removed, leading to others leaving. Suggestions include implementing maximum capacity rules and policies for sick individuals. The snack bar offers are limited (sometimes only chips) or it may be closed. Communication at the gate needs improvement, as facilities like the splash pad can be unexpectedly closed due to issues like chlorine levels after full payment, frustrating guests who might have chosen not to enter otherwise. Some guests also felt it was unfair to pay full price if they were not swimming or unable to use all amenities. Despite these drawbacks, many express a willingness to return, especially during less crowded times like weekdays.

First I must say the website does not say what the prices are to get in. So for anyone who wants to go here for the first time, Annapolis residents are $6 and non residents are $10 which isn’t that bad. But there’s a bigger problem. It was only 45 mins after opening a child threw up in the kids pool. I thought that was it but 30 mins later, presumably the same child threw up again in the bigger pool, after which half the people left the place. Then the kid threw up a third time a couple hours later. They should have a rule saying if someone is sick and causes such an incident they should be forced to leave the pool instead of staying and causing another incident not too far away. Lastly, they should have a maximum capacity because it gets super crowded after 15 minutes. So crowded in the big pool in fact that at its worst, there’s only room for standing. I will certainly come here again but only on weekdays. It’s still a nice pool considering that good pools are rare in the area, and the slides are nice.
My family and I had a great time! The day we went, it was around 86 degrees—warm, but not the hottest. The water felt freezing compared to the air, which actually made for a refreshing contrast. For an even better experience, I’d recommend going on a 90–100 degree day. The colder water would feel absolutely perfect in that kind of heat!
Nice place with plenty of seating. My daughter and I went on 8/30/25 from 2-5 it wasn’t crowded and there were plenty of life guards. The snack bar wasn’t opened during my visit. For the slides you have to pass a swim test. It was $10 for non residents & $7 for non residents 3-12 years old.
The only reason we came today was so the kids could use the splash pad. After we paid full price to come in we were told the splash pad was apparently closing for two hours and we weren’t supposed to use it due to chlorine issues. This information should have been communicated at the gate since those of us with little kids (who kids can’t swim yet) can just come back another day. I wasn’t swimming and was not in a bathing suit because I was bringing my toddler and preschooler in to watch them play yet was still charged. If I pay full price for anything I need to be able to use ALL of the facilities not just half the pool that my kids can stand in. What a rip off. I don’t like this pool.
Went hiking close by and then came to the pool. $6 for residents and $10 for non residents. Snack bar was only chips. Comfy reclining pool char. Had a great relaxing time!
