DeerTree Pool, located at 10000 Greenside Dr, Cockeysville, MD 21030, USA, is a community swimming facility. It serves as a seasonal recreational spot, typically open during the summer months for residents and members. Specific, advertised pool temperature information for DeerTree Pool is not readily available. As a seasonal outdoor community pool, its water temperature would naturally fluctuate based on prevailing weather conditions, and it is not generally advertised as being heated to a specific degree.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Deertree pool receives mixed reviews but is generally praised for being a large, beautiful, and clean facility with well-maintained grounds, often described as good value. Many appreciate that it's rarely crowded, offering ample opportunity for swimming and relaxation, and some find it worth a significant drive. It features a 12-foot deep end, a kiddie pool with interesting additions, and daily specials. While staff are generally described as nice or polite, one review notes occasional rudeness from younger staff. A significant recurring concern, especially in recent years, is frequent pool closures due to lifeguards taking constant breaks, perceived understaffing (despite multiple guards), and over-cautious closures for minor disturbances like passing trucks, leading to considerable time spent out of the water. Management is also criticized for apparently not caring about these issues. Best times to visit are suggested as early mornings on weekends or late afternoons on weekdays.

We always had a wonderful time going .It depends on the time of day you go.As soon as they open is the best time on the weekends.Late afternoon during the week. The staff are polite most part. Some may might be rude but that’s the way some younger adults are these days .
Three years ago we would have given this pool five stars, but in the last few years the Life Guards take breaks constantly (supposedly because they are understaffed, despite having four guards, only two of whom are ever seated at any given time), hear "thunder" every time a truck passes by - closing the pool yet again - and the management company apparently couldn't care less. We've literally spent as much time OUT of the pool as in it.
Really, the best pool in the area for the money. The staff is nice. The facilities are clean. It's never overly crowded.
