I grew up going to this pool every single day of the summer and it used to be fun, live af, and packed just about every day but after I came back with my kids last summer I realized how much the pool has declined. There’s no point in using the steps to get in or out of the pool and instead of watching the pool one of the guards was too busy trynna flirt with me even tho I told him I wasn’t interested, then he caught an attitude and after that everything me and my kids did had him blowing his whistle at us even tho I have my lifeguard and pool operator certification and that pool is close to my house I still wouldn’t work here unless my father and uncle convinced me to and that’s only because in the late 90’s and early 2000’s they were both lifeguards there. I’d rather walk to and thru Druid hill than walk around the corner and go here and I wish it wasn’t that way
Staff was polite and organized when checking in. Big pool was very dirty and limited our range for use. There were rocks on the bottom and some spots felt alippery/smiley. The steps to get in were cracked. Baby/toddler pool was clean, but the mushroom sprayer wasn't working while we were there. Pool could definitely use some maintenance and TLC. We still had a decent time, but that may have been because we were the only ones there. We likely won't return.
The staff has been very rude and unorganized. One staff member told me one thing and the other told me another. When I asked who is correct they both looked at each other. Everyday there are different rules or reasons why the children can not get into the pool from the clothing to the timing.
Not my cup of tea and is not the best place to stick your toes in.
The kids had an awesome time.
