My family and I have been going to raging waves for about 2 years. Each time we have come we all have an amazing time. Food is a little pricey, but we do pack our own lunch and when the the park grounds is closing we always go to the parking lot to the grassy Area and have a little picnic together To finish off our day at the water park, it's always nice and clean. Everyone is very polite, very observant, watching everyone and keeping everyone safe. I will recommend this place to anyone who desires to take their kids To a very nice water park. Final comment, try to get a summer pass well worth the price if you plan to visit often, we have been here 6 times already. This summer.
Amazing place! Got a great deal on Groupon, check in was seamless. Be sure to bring a clear or mesh bag, so important. Reminds me of the water park at Six Flags, but with more slides and water activities!
This was our first visit and we’re disappointed. I understand they’re at the end of the season so are more short staffed. But how do you not allow food into the park but then only have one place open to eat? I wasted 30 minutes in line just to order food. You can see how long the food line is in my pic. For being the largest water park in Illinois it was underwhelming. Lines were long and moved slowly and we weren’t even there when it was that crowded. And really didn’t feel that large. We were there 4 hours and rode 5 slides and hung out in the wave pool. For the price we paid I expected more.
While this is a pricey trip for bigger families I feel it was worth it! Great kids area and my family had a blast on the slides! Looking forward to going back next summer! My husband loved the big drop slide!
Been going to raging waves the past 5 years. This past weekend was one of the worst experiences. We have gone late in the season before but this time toddler section was closed, the water in all the open water areas was full of woodchips and bugs and waited in line to order food for 40min because one employee was taking orders and the others were walking to the back. Not sure why I can't get lids for my kids drinks. More than paid for the soft drink. Best part was the VIP entrance, no line no waiting and entrance staff was friendly.
