What are people saying (AI review summary)? Black Bear Golf Club elicits mixed reviews for its golf course but is overwhelmingly praised as a wedding venue. Golfers describe the course as challenging, fair, and generally well-maintained with a spacious driving range and fast greens, often highlighting friendly and helpful staff. Some consider it one of Colorado's best. Conversely, other golfers criticize it as an old, low-end facility with crumbling cart paths and basic restrooms, deeming its pricing (e.g., $122 on a Friday) as exorbitant and a poor value compared to local municipal courses, also noting overpriced food. Public access to the private, ClubCorp-owned course can be difficult. As a wedding venue, however, Black Bear Golf Club receives glowing recommendations. It's lauded as a 'game-changer' with stunning scenery including rolling hills and lush greens, an elegant clubhouse featuring a photogenic staircase, and a beautiful outdoor ceremony space. Reviewers commend its versatility, top-tier service, and ability to create a spectacular wedding experience with both natural beauty and sophisticated interiors.

A wonderful afternoon! From checking in to returning our cart everyone was friendly and helpful. The driving range is spacious and well maintained. The course was challenging but fair. It was also in great shape. (FYI: I usually walk, but this course was built for taking a cart.)
Alright, folks, grab your clubs—or in this case, your wedding rings—because Black Bear Golf Club is here to take your wedding game to the next level. As the daring crew behind Epoch Moment, we've seen our fair share of venues, but let's just say, Black Bear Golf Club in Parker is a total game-changer in the 'wedding at a golf club' space. First thing's first: the scenery. This place isn't just a golf club; it's a slice of paradise. Nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greens, the club offers a stunning backdrop for your wedding day. Imagine saying your vows with perfectly manicured lawns and tranquil trees in the background—talk about a photographer's dream! But it's not all about the outdoors. The clubhouse at Black Bear is just as impressive, featuring elegant decor and photogenic staircase off the main entrance. Whether you're planning a cozy winter wedding or a vibrant summer bash, this venue has the versatility to make it spectacular. The outdoor ceremony under the iron gazebo centered in the beautiful lawn area (not a hole on the course - a courtyard just for the ceremony) is absolutely stunning and catches the setting sun perfectly. And let’s not forget the reception. A decent sized room ready for a number of tables and a dance floor plus a patio connected to the room. There's also a huge fireplace setup to create an ambience or keep your guests warm on a winter wedding. So, if you're looking to tie the knot at a venue that combines natural beauty, elegant interiors, and top-tier service, Black Bear Golf Club should be at the top of your list. Trust us, your wedding here will be nothing short of a hole-in-one. #dadjokes Rating: ★★★★★ – Because when it comes to weddings, Black Bear Golf Club is on par with the best!
This course is private & owned by ClubCorp Colorado. It is tougher to get on for the public, but it is possible. It has wide open fairways, as there are no trees that come into play. It was in good condition for November. The greens are very fast
This is a pretty old and low end country club. Nearby municipal courses like SaddleRock or Murphy Creek are much better and much less expensive. The bathrooms at Black Bear are pot toilets and the cart paths are crumbling asphalt. But the owner considers this place upscale and has increased the price by 30% or more in the last couple years. the pricing is a total joke…. $122 on a Friday. This is a $60 golf experience at best. Food is also way overpriced.
This golf course is one of the best in Colorado! Friendly staff and top notch challenging course!
