Community hangout with weights, classes and fitness machines, plus a leisure pool with slides.
The Leisure Pool typically maintains a temperature of 86-88°F (30-31°C). The Lap Pool is usually kept cooler, around 80-82°F (26-28°C). The Warm Water Therapy Pool is significantly warmer, often around 98°F (37°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews for the recreation center present a highly mixed picture. Positive experiences highlight friendly and professional front staff, consistently clean facilities (though one review strongly disputes this), readily available equipment, and a positive child-watch program. Many found the pool setup, including slides, climbing nets, and water features, enjoyable for children. However, significant concerns were raised, primarily regarding lifeguard competency and safety. One serious incident described a child drowning and being pulled out by a patron, unnoticed by lifeguards. Other safety issues included a lifeguard rudely pushing children down slides before they were properly seated. Inconsistent staff professionalism was a frequent complaint, with reports of rude, dismissive, 'power-hungry,' and disengaged lifeguards enforcing unposted rules. A major point of frustration is the limited availability of key attractions like slides and the lazy river, often due to inadequate staffing or concurrent classes, despite full admission charges. Some reviewers felt it was unreasonable to pay full price when features were unavailable or access was restricted. These issues led several patrons to express strong disappointment and a reluctance to return.

I recently purchased a year membership and have had a wonderful experience so far! I have gone 6 days a week for the last two weeks and all of the staff I have encountered are extremely friendly and professional. The area is always clean and I never have an issue finding/ using any equipment. My son goes to their child-watch and the staff knows and treats him well! This has been the best investment with our recent move here.
VERY pleasant experience. Front staff and lifeguards were all very lovely and professional, facilities in the family cabana/changing room area were perfectly clean, had zero issues. The shower stalls have locks so privacy when changing is possible. Young children seemed to love the pool setup, especially the climbing net, water geyser features, and water slides. Very toddler friendly. Water temperature was warm but it could be nicer to be just a tad bit warmer. A variety of floaties/lifejackets were available to use if needed. There was a bit of horseplay but as to be expected in a family friendly pool area. The entry price was $9.25 per person for all day use.
Place is always dirty they force you to pay even if you’re just watching your kid play and not swimming. The lifeguards don’t pay attention I was at a birthday party a kid was drowning and my wife pulled him out of the pool the lifeguard didn’t even notice! Gross place.
I am extremely disappointed with the lifeguarding staff and overall management at this recreation center. When our group of four families (16 children in total) arrived to swim at 10 AM on a Tuesday, we were immediately told that our children could not splash in the lazy river because an aerobics class was taking place in the deep end of the pool. While we understood and instructed our children to be mindful, another lifeguard approached us, stating that we had to stay on one side of the lazy river to avoid getting the speaker—being used for the class—wet. At that point, I respectfully mentioned that we had just paid full admission to use the facilities, and with the slides closed and the deep end occupied, the lazy river was one of the few areas available to our children. I assured her we would be careful not to splash but would still be utilizing the space. In response, the lifeguard informed me that they were not staffed adequately because they didn’t expect children during the day. I explained that we are homeschoolers, as are many other families in the area. She simply nodded and walked away. The second major issue was the slides being closed. These are one of the pool’s biggest attractions for children, so we were naturally excited to use them. When we inquired about their opening time, we received conflicting answers: one lifeguard told us they didn’t have enough staff to operate them, while another stated they only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. If that is the case, I find it unreasonable that the facility charges full price when key features are unavailable. Eventually, the slides did open, and we were grateful—until our children reported being treated rudely by the lifeguard at the top. Multiple kids noticed her repeatedly rolling her eyes, mouthing “OMG,” and acting visibly annoyed that they were using the slide frequently. She also refused to assist younger children into their tubes and prohibited older kids from helping them. On top of that, she pushed some children down the slide before they were fully seated, causing several to be improperly positioned while going down—something that could have resulted in injury. It is incredibly unprofessional for a lifeguard, whose job is to supervise and ensure safety, to behave in such a manner. To make matters worse, just 30 minutes after opening, the slides were shut down again because a lifeguard had left. Despite these challenges, our children remained respectful, followed the rules, and made the best of the situation. However, I am incredibly disappointed that we paid full price for a facility that was not fully operational for most of our visit. Worse, the lack of professionalism and dismissive treatment by the staff made the experience even more frustrating. Based on this visit, I am not inclined to return.
I liked the swimming area with the slides and stuff. And the receptionist was very personable. However while swimming I thought the life guard manager was a bit power hungry I understand there are rules and I respect that but he went a little too far. these “rules” weren’t even posted and they weren’t nice about enforcing them. If they were friendly about it I wouldn’t complain, although I’d prefer to be able to swim without someone ordering me around every 5 minutes. We were the only ones there and not doing anything crazy. Other lifeguards were disengaged and unprofessional. One blew the whistle but didn’t announce what it meant and it seemed like he tried to avoid me when I walked up to him to ask. I’m not sure I’d go back because of all that. Even though we did have fun.
