Outdoor swimming pool with a 100-foot waterslide, plus a separate leisure pool and a snack bar.
Specific, constantly published pool temperatures for Holly Pool & Waterslide are typically not publicly available. However, as a modern community outdoor pool, it is generally heated for swimmer comfort during its operating season, though the exact temperature may vary based on weather conditions and operational adjustments.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the pool facilities are largely negative, highlighting significant issues with accessibility, staffing, and rule enforcement. Common complaints include inconvenient and inconsistent operating hours, such as late 11 am openings, early 5 pm closures, and pools not opening on time due to absent staff. Many patrons, including long-term residents, reported being repeatedly turned away due to alleged 'capacity' limits or 'lack of lifeguards,' even when pools appeared uncrowded. Lifeguard conduct is also a concern, with some described as overly strict with children regarding swim tests (limited attempts, unclear requirements) and slide height restrictions, while others are perceived as failing to enforce rules for adults at the diving board. Despite some positive remarks about nice staff, a pleasant community atmosphere, an enjoyable water slide for some, and available shaded areas, these are often overshadowed by widespread frustration over the pool's operational inefficiencies and inconsistent user experience.

The staff are nice but the hours are pretty whack. Apparently they do lap swimming before they open it up to the public at 11. Just seems like a waste of pool. Highlands ranch pools are open until 8pm or later and most of these close at 5pm which is another weird concept. I don't know if the lifeguards are intimidated by adults at times, but the amount of times I've had to ask other adults to get out of the way when I'm attempting to jump off the diving board has been ridiculous. Hopefully next season they they aren't as intimidated.
Not sure what happened to the pool, but lifeguards are super strict and not allow more then 2 attempts for the swimming test to be able to jump from the board, also, they do not even explain the requirements clearly. Secondly, the slide height requirement is too big for the kids of younger age and big kids are not interested in this slide. So to sum up with this two limitations you are only able to use a small toddler pool, lol.
Second Saturday in a row my son and I were turned away because the pool did not have enough life guards or was “at capacity” even though the pool clearly was not busy at all. Both weeks it was after swim meets 1:30-2:00 pm. Even joined a waitlist this week, sat outside in a hot parking lot for over 45 minutes trying to take my kid to the pool and NEVER got a phone call back and was refused entry twice, even after witnessing multiple families leaving the pool. I am a registered resident of South Suburban. This is unacceptable. Last week I was also turned away from Cook Creek because of capacity issues. I have been a resident for over 30 years, and I have never been turned away. Frustrated and disappointed driving to multiple South Suburban Pools only to be turned away.
Pool opens at 11 but no one was there and my son was so upset cause we had planned to swim. We waited 10 min after there suppose to be open and still no one showed up. Hours need to be changed if works can’t show up😤
Very nice community pool! My grandson loved the water slide. It wasn’t as busy as I thought it might be. There were a couple of small school groups but they were well behaved. A lot of nice shady areas to sit also.
