About

Relaxed fitness center offering camps for kids, a gym, a track, plus a warm pool with a lazy river.

The aquatic area at Lone Tree Recreation Center typically maintains specific temperatures for different pools. The Lap Pool is generally kept around 80-82°F (26.6-27.7°C), while the Leisure/Program Pool is usually warmer, around 86-88°F (30-31.1°C). The hot tub/spa is maintained at approximately 102-104°F (38.8-40°C).

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Lone Tree Recreation Center receives overall positive feedback for its well-maintained and squeaky-clean facility, offering diverse amenities like a pool, gym, pickleball courts, and fitness classes. Many patrons commend the welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service, with Kenny Wilson (Customer Service Supervisor/Manager) and Bill at the front desk frequently highlighted for their friendly, professional, and knowledgeable assistance, fostering a 'family-like' environment. While the main pool is generally considered clean and suitable for casual use, one review suggested it could benefit from updates. A notable area for improvement, however, is the children's swimming classes, which one family found disappointing due to instructors appearing disengaged and potentially inexperienced. Despite this specific criticism, the center is highly recommended by many for its comprehensive fitness options, efficient equipment maintenance, and inclusive clientele.

The Lone Tree Recreation Center pool was decent. The water was clean and the staff were friendly. However, the pool could benefit from some updates. Overall, it's a good option for a casual swim or family outing.

My name is Rich. I have been attending this facility since its inception over 23 years ago. One of the best places for my workouts. Fantastic facility. Kenny Wilson (Customer Service Supervisor) also makes you feel welcome every time I visit the gym, no matter how many times I attend. I am at the gym at least 4 times a week. Great attitude and very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. As many years that I have been attending the gym, it makes it feel like you are family.

Major kudos to Kenny who runs customer service and Bill who works the front desk! They are warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I was a gym rat in my younger years, and the Lone Tree Rec Center far surpasses any fitness facility I used to visit. Always squeaky clean, the equipment all works, and if something is broken, they fix it PDQ. The pool, lockers and shower areas are all first rate. The clientele is a great mix of seniors, school groups, and other nice regular people - not just muscle heads showing off, so you will be comfortable working out whatever your age. But they have everything for your fitness needs that the major gyms have. Highly recommended!

We enrolled our child in swimming classes at Lone Tree Recreation Center for over a year, hoping for a strong, consistent learning experience. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Over time, we noticed that the instructors often seemed disengaged and lacked the energy or focus you'd expect in a children’s swim class. It felt like the center was hiring very young, possibly inexperienced staff to lead the classes, and this affected the overall quality of instruction. While the facility itself is nice and the scheduling was convenient, the effectiveness of the classes left a lot to be desired. It’s important for swim instructors—especially those working with kids—to be attentive, enthusiastic, and properly trained. Sadly, that wasn't our experience here. We hope Lone Tree Recreation Center takes this feedback seriously and invests more in hiring and training instructors who are genuinely committed to teaching and engaging with children.

Lone Tree Rec Center has it all from a fantastic pool to pickleball courts to fitness rooms for Zumba. The friendly atmosphere lead by their helpful and knowledgeable manager Kenny makes for a great experience and you just have to try the classes. Great place and a community plus!
