It was horrible! A dead mouse was in the pool & the staff didn’t even stop the swim meet. The bathrooms had pickles on the floor and a random swimsuit and random clothes. No maintenance!

FYI, ALL of lanes are reserved for high school swim teams during open swim in the evening, leaving only three open lanes for actual UNC students. A competent staff member COULD post the times for when the swim team is present to the UNC website, but I guess that person doesn’t exist. Don’t even try asking staff or the director for information. They either don’t know or are rude.

Overcoming my fear of water gradually and finally learning to swim🏊. I was afraid it would be too cold to swim, but guess what! the room temperature in there is appropriate for swimming any season of the year. After my ongoing 4weeks swimming lesson, I'll surely visit often....
