About

Preston Village Pool, located at 311 Preston Village Way, Cary, NC 27519, USA, is an outdoor community swimming facility primarily serving the residents of the Preston Village neighborhood. It typically operates seasonally, offering a main pool for general recreation and often a separate, shallow wading pool for younger children. The pool provides a local recreational hub for families during the warmer months.

As an outdoor community pool, Preston Village Pool is generally unheated. Its water temperature naturally fluctuates with the ambient weather conditions and daily sunlight. Specific, real-time temperature information is not typically made public, as it largely depends on the current season and climate.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The community offers expansive recreational facilities that, while not opulent, create a grand impression and foster social engagement. Strategic real estate investment, particularly opting for modest dwellings, is advised for financial flexibility amidst rising housing prices, with a new property tax in 2024 noted as a potential financial burden. Regarding the pools, feedback is mixed: one account cited an 'extremely hot' pool with 'bad water' during a swim meet, despite good hospitality. Conversely, other reviews praise the pools as 'super clean,' 'crystal clear,' and a 'private oasis,' with one user calling it the 'cleanest public pool' they've encountered. The pool, previously associated with Prestonwood Country Club, now belongs to Preston Village and is accessible to all homeowners.

It is often said that the value of what you receive correlates directly with the investment you are willing to make. The type of home you choose to purchase invariably influences the caliber of services and amenities at your disposal. It's worth noting that the impending introduction of a new property tax in 2024 could prove to be a significant financial burden, particularly for those whose annual earnings can accommodate such an expense. As someone who does not reside in this area, I find myself merely an observer, longing for what I cannot partake in—much like gazing at delectable plums just out of reach. Moreover, my lack of swimming prowess reinforces my reluctance to immerse myself in the throngs of local residents; it seems unnecessary to navigate through a sea of people when I can observe from a distance. In recent years, I've noticed a marked increase in housing prices within the vicinity, yet I remain unfazed by this trend. To me, the most astute approach to real estate investment lies in opting for a modest dwelling. By doing so, one can conserve more financial resources for further investments, thereby fostering greater economic flexibility. Returning to the matter at hand, this community does indeed boast a plethora of recreational facilities. While they may not exude opulence, their expansive nature creates an impression of grandeur that can be quite enticing. Such spaces offer opportunities for social engagement and leisure, enhancing the overall living experience, even if they fall short of true luxury. In essence, navigating the real estate landscape requires both discernment and foresight—qualities that ultimately lead to wiser investment choices and richer life experiences.

The pool was extremely hot for a swim team swim meet. Although the hospitality was nice the water was bad.

Labor day morning 7:30am it's like our own private oasis. Pool is super clean and water crystal clear with a little steam rising off the water.

Pool was associated with Prestonwood Country Club. Now it belongs to Preston Village. Available to all homeowners.

Out of all the public pools I've been to, this one is the cleanest.
