Public swimming pool with picnic tables, diving boards and calm vibes.
Information regarding the exact, consistently maintained temperature of the pool(s) at High Point Water Park is not readily available. As an outdoor seasonal facility, the pool temperatures generally rely on natural heating from the sun and ambient air temperatures.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility, despite being named a 'water park,' is primarily described as a large pool with two diving boards and a kiddie pool. Reviewers appreciate its affordability, the allowance of personal pool toys, and amenities such as chairs, picnic tables, and a snack bar that accepts cards, with the option to bring outside food. Some praise it as quiet, fun, and well-kept with clear water. However, significant drawbacks include poor accessibility (unpaved road, weeds), inconsistent water quality (murky, algae, and rusting), and a notable lack of lifeguards, which is a major concern given the pool's 10ft depth. Other issues mentioned are communication barriers with front desk staff, a policy of charging non-swimmers, and occasional long wait times.

First of all, it's a pool not "waterpark" is tucked off on a road that resembles driving to corn fields. There should be paving and your customers shouldn't have to walk through weeds to get there. The pool is huge! Water was a little murky. The Hispanic girl at the front desk speaks no English. Why are you working at a public pool? Using google translator. If you don't swim, they will charge you to enter and sit. We were visiting from another state looking for a pool.
Usually it's pretty quiet and laid back w/o a crowd. We love it! It's our 2nd summer and other than maybe Emerald Pointe I won't bother with any of the other local pools 😁!
The name says "water park", so...it's not your "traditional" water park, there are 2 large pools & two diving boards, that’s it, but it's STILL fun! BONUS: You can bring your pool “toys”, they ARE allowed! My girls are choosey having been to all kinds of pools across the US and they're having a blast! For the price, you can't beat it! $3.00 for children and $5.00 for adults for ALL YOU WANT TO SWIM! Lots of chairs, about 8 picnic tables with umbrellas, a shelter with picnic tables, a kiddie pool, snack bar that accepts debit & credit cards OR you can bring your own food & drinks or order pizza, etc., for delivery. The deck is clean and the water is clear. Very well kept. IIt is NOT “run down” by any means and PERFECT for the price! ***PLEASE NOTE‼*** There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY!
I am gonna do a 3 out of 5 because I waited in the line so long in the hot sunshine and wait 30 minutes to go back to the pool and it rain and their were face paint and food truck that were nice and good
Fun pool and they let you bring in pool toys, but the pool isn’t up-kept, lots of algae and rusting inside the pool. The pool goes up to 10ft deep but there’s no lifeguards which is also a concern
