What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool receives mixed reviews, primarily highlighting its clean, large main pool and very reasonable prices. Staff, including lifeguards and the manager, are consistently praised for being awesome, nice, thorough, and alert. Swim lessons are also noted as good. However, the facility is in significant need of major renovations. Common complaints include terrible, disgusting, and outdated changing rooms, shower rooms, and bathrooms that often lack cleanliness and basic amenities like toilet paper and soap. There's a severe lack of shade and seating, with only two umbrellas frequently occupied, leading to discomfort in hot weather. Other issues include a closed baby pool with stagnant water, an hourly mandatory swim break, and misleading online information about pool status, with the pool sometimes being closed for recreational swimming even during scheduled lesson times.
Reviews
Pros: Great place to cool off in a clean pool. Awsome employees, with great people skills, and dealing with the public. Especially the manager. Con's: Terrible changing/shower rooms. Clean, but in much need if updating whole facility.
Pro: Went on a Thursday afternoon and it was pretty quiet; not busy at all. It's a Big lap pool open for recreation after lap swim time. My 3 daughters and I were happy to stay in the shallow end and play with the dive sticks we brought with us. The lifeguards seemed nice. Con: I wish there was more seating - just a few metal benches which were Hot and only 2 umbrellas set further away from pool. Next time I will bring chairs of my own. The changing area definitely needs some updating but we just walked through and didn't need to use it.
Very large pool, very thorough and alert life guards. They do take a swim break after 45 minutes, so 15 before the next hour you get out of the pool for 10 minutes. And its every hour on the hour. But the price here is also so reasonable its only $2 for adults, and $1 per kid. I overall liked this pool and will definitely go back.
This pool is in need of some major renovations! We only come for swim lessons but I dread it each time. There are two umbrellas for the whole pool which are taken up by the swim instructors or childcare facilities that are there each time we come. Therefore, we bake in the sun frequently in 90 to 100° weather. It wouldn’t be as bad if the pool was actually open on the days we have swim lessons but they are closed on Mondays and no one is allowed to swim unless you are doing swim lessons. Since my two children take turns with their swim lessons, the other bakes in the sun with me and my 2 year that I have in tow each time. There is a baby pool with brown standing water that is closed for the season. You think they’d at least empty it out though. (See photo). The bathrooms are disgusting. My son refuses to change in the locker room because of how filthy they are. They are frequently out of toilet paper and there is 1 soap dispenser for the 4 sinks in the women’s bathroom. The swim lessons are good but I would never have signed up if I knew the facility they were using was this bad.
When you look up the pool online they say they're open, we drive all the way here and there's no water in the pool.
