We went on Wednesday to wet and Wild. I recommend buying the tickets online. I paid 49.99 for ticket and a meal voucher. The meal voucher was good at 4 different restaurants in the park. If we hadn’t purchased the meal voucher the meal would have been 13.99 each. So it’s definitely worth it. For all the rides that had longer wait times during the day we waited until 4pm to ride them and the wait time was no more than 10-15 minutes. We were able to ride everything. The wave pool is the best.
My family and I decided to go to Wet and Wild on a somewhat last-minute trip on a Sunday. I was able to call in the morning and talk to someone on the phone about obtaining tickets. Tickets at the door were $65 per person over 2 years old. However, if you purchased them online, you would be able to get them for $35 a person or $30 for a military. Unfortunately, when I tried to do the military option, I was unsuccessful several times. The extra $5 would have helped pay for the $20 parking. However, I was still very happy to get a discount for purchasing the tickets online. We arrived at the park at noon and were able to stay very busy until the park closed at 5 pm. There were several restrooms throughout the park, and the soap was always full, and the bathrooms all had toilet paper. The employees were in a good mood. They were also very helpful if we had any questions. The pools were somewhat chili to my body's temperature preference. However, we were all able to get in the water and enjoy ourselves. The Lazy River, I wish they had pulled out some more tubes for people to get on, but it was very relaxing. My children enjoy jumping off of the pirate ship into the pool. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was that my 5-year-old, who is about 45 in tall, was unable to ride most of the slides in the park. You have to be 48 in tall in order to get on all of the slides except for the ones in the baby area. Since we went with two adults and two children, one of us was able to go on the slides with the older child while the other one stayed in the pools with the younger child. The wave pool was also a huge success for our family. It was so nice that a big wave came about every 3 minutes as opposed to other parks that have wave pools, and the wave comes every 5 to 10 minutes. The pools looked clean. And the lines were not drastically long. The most we wait in a line was about 20 minutes before we were able to actually get into the Lazy River or the slide. Overall the atmosphere was very nice at the park. We also enjoyed some food. There was plenty of seating, and we were able to secure a couple of seats near the pirate ship. Another pro was the availability of life vests at essentially all of the pools. My 5yo felt very comfortable and safe in that, even though he is a beginner swim. We will definitely be returning.
This place is amazing! Affordable, safe, and always clean. This was our second visit. We were surprised by quickly that we could just walk on to any attraction. The waits are basically within a few minutes, if any. I purchased the season pass for my son, and it is the best 100 bucks ever spent. Parking is a smooth flow and short walk. My only compliant is that half the food venues were not open. However, they will not keep us from coming back. So much fun and family memories to last a lifetime.
We had so much fun here with the kiddos and family! There's more than enough to do so nobody gets bored, but I will say that you would probably have more fun if you are able to go on a weekday when it's more than likely not as busy, just so you're not standing in line for each slide/attraction for 30 or 45 minutes
Me and my family went on a Saturday morning. We got to the park right at 10am. It was cheaper to purchase tickets online so once we realized that after going to the window. We sat off to the side and purchased our tickets. We had a ball. We spend majority of our time at the wave pool. The only thing I would say is the food was horrible. Overcooked chicken and cold fries. The customer service at the food spot was lackluster as well. I would suggest going early and getting tickets in advance. Parking was $20. We had a blast and it was fun to cool off in the water.
