Family-friendly resort-style park highlighting a 2-acre crystalline lagoon for swimming and paddleboarding, plus a sandy beach, pool and playground.
As the main attraction is a large, open-air crystal-clear lagoon rather than a traditional heated swimming pool, specific temperature information for the body of water is not typically published. Its temperature would naturally fluctuate with ambient weather conditions and is not actively heated or cooled.

Very good, will definitely be back well worth it! Looks like they are still expanding their facilities. I would just get endless obstacle course tickets next time it is really good fun. Food and drink are a little pricey but better than going to Galveston 🤣
We are residents and have seen a decline in the amenities at the lagoon. The restaurant recently closed, and they don’t allow outside food, so unless there’s a food truck on site you will not have the ability to eat. The views are beautiful and make for great photo opportunities, but the customer service is lacking. Employees seem to come from a Chuck E Cheese type atmosphere instead of providing us with the top notch service the lagoon deserves. The security checks are inconsistent. Sometimes they check your bags, and other times they let you walk right in. Some staff will let you in with food/drinks others won’t. We have also seen lifeguards sleeping under their sunglasses. I have been approached while relaxing in my beach chair and told to switch to a different chair because my chair was only for use within a cabana area. This when every cabana around me was empty. They might be struggling financially since they have added fees for everything. $25 to sit under an umbrella. I continue to return because I love the beach vibe, but I am always disappointed by the way I am treated and may not return.
Another fantastic family fun event at the Balmoral CCL. Safe, clean and not overcrowded. Great Polynesian entertainment with a delicious dish. (To the cook [Drums of the Pacific] and the Balmoral staff - Well done!!
It was so beautiful! It felt like we were on vacation! The sand, blue water, and palm trees! The grotto fountain was so scenic! Great family vibe with adult fun, too.
Very relaxing. Not many food trucks here throughout the week but it's still food options. You can bring your snacks.
