Lots of thi gz for children to play with. . Trees provide ample shade. The only problem is that there are not many parking spots

I recently visited after a year or two due to the pandemic. This park was one of my go to spots before, but the maintenance has really let it go. Everything is over grown, you can't hardly see the pond by the sand pit anymore, the sand pit itself does not have much sand in it at all. The trails are being over run by the plant life too. The playground is still in good shape, so that's a plus. Overall, it was okay, but not nearly as nice as it once was. It seems the playground across the street is a lot more popular now...

Nice park for older children, but it's not a great park for very young children.It was a little too advanced for my 2 year old; however, my 4.5 year old had fun climbing on the playground equipment. There is little to no shade.
