They don't know when they want to open. And the schedule that they are suppose to go by they don't so why even have a community pool if your not going to open it??
Three pools in one day... All three were a problem.... Closed early Lincoln... The other 2 didn't live within their community even though all three were public pools
This neighborhood got robbed! Shame on the City of Houston (COH) for neglecting this pool and leaving behind its citizens! The citizens of the Acres Homes area deserve a well-maintained, safe, and comfortable pool in recognition of their hard work and contributions to the community. Unfortunately, the condition of Lincoln Swimming Pool falls far short of that standard. The grout and tiles are cracking, and walking across the pool floor feels like stepping on rocks—so much so that participants in the free Water Fitness Class are advised to wear water shoes. This pool is at least 30 years old and showing serious signs of neglect. The sides of the pool are worn, and the locker room facilities are in desperate need of major upgrades. Where are the resources for this part of town? They’re across town, leaving essential workers and local families without a quality place to relax and connect. Lincoln Swimming Pool urgently needs public funding and attention. Its current condition is simply unacceptable. Let’s invest in this community by renovating a space that should be a place of pride—not discomfort.
