What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives mixed reviews, with some praising its physical attributes like its nice width, good length (3-10 ft depth), and relative cleanliness despite being an older facility with chair lifts for disabled access. It's generally not too busy. However, there are significant complaints about the accuracy of its advertised opening hours, with many finding it closed when listed as open. Weekday public access is very limited (7 PM to 8 PM) due to children's swimming lessons, leading to requests for clearer communication of these schedules. Weekends are reported to be excellent and open to everyone. Other facilities include an older playground and a small parking lot, with street parking available. Free water fitness classes are offered by the city of Houston during summer. One review notes a potential re-opening or seasonal start in June 2025, and there is no baby pool.
Reviews
Everytime I come to this pool and the times are always when they say they’re open, but it is the exact opposite. Closed all day and all week. Someone needs to put when they are actually open .
The pool is nice and wide. Also, it's the length is very good and it goes from 3 ft - 10 ft. Weekends are excellent and open to everyone. Weekdays it's open to everyone from 7pm to 8 pm only Why? They're giving swimming lessons to children. Don't get me wrong - this is a good thing - children need to know how to swim. The lesson times for the children should be indicated on their website on the main page , if it isn't all ready. If it is - I must of missed it. And/or the hours for adults.
Pool open starting June 2025!
Never really too busy and relatively clean. no baby pool Downside is small parking lot but you can on nearby street if needed. The playground is a bit old but has all the basics to pass some time as you dry off.
