I moved 2 blocks away and have tried to go about 10 times. I have been allowed to swim exactly 3. If there is even 1 raindrop the lifeguards call it closed. I have started calling to see if it's open when there is an earlier rain splatter and they just stay closed! The kicker is that there is usually 1-2 guards there hanging out just telling everyone to go away...

This pool is larger than Love Park pool, which is nice, but there are trees close by so there were a lot of leaves in the water. When you come up for air and get wet leaves plastered all over your hair and face, it's not good.

A wonderful free swimming pool. They have a lane that is always open for laps. There is nothing spectacular but when we are talking about a free pool what else do you need. They do close are only open through labor day. Also, the gate can make the pool look closed when it is not. Just reach through and pull up the lever. Enjoy!!!
