Great customer service at every point of the experience. Took my open water certification here. The confined(pool) portion was taught with patience and know how. The open water portion was done at mammoth lake(still have one more day) over two days. The instructor was patient and informed. He gave appropriate time to each student and was very professional and made sure we fulfilled the course requirements. The water at mammoth was cold and the visibility poor, due to the time of year, but having dived in those conditions make for very good prep for better conditions and other locations. Don't get me wrong mammoth is an amazing location, just not inviting in February...., an awesome place for when the weather warms up and the visibility increases. I feel confident about what I have learned from the professionals at Sugar Land Dive Center. Their prices are also very reasonable. I would highly recommend taking courses and buying from the shop. I bought my mask and snorkel there, and there was no pressure, and much information given as to what would likely work best for my facial structure.
I feel totally blessed that I found this facility for my 10 year old daughter's dream of diving. John, Eric, Phil and the rest of the staff are a joy to watch teach the students. Including the young ones like my daughter. They are all very soft spoken. My daughter is now fully certified as a junior open water scuba diver. If you have a child interested in diving. This is where to go. I know you will have an amazing experience.
No pressure to buy Dive shop. Kris was patient and answered all of our questions while we decided to “take the plunge” investing in gear. They set us up with a tank and all the pool time we wanted to get cozy in our gear. Wrapping up our first dive trip with the new stuff and are totally happy with our investment in Sugarland Dive Shop. Get ready Kris….. we want Nitrox! ~Cozumel, Mexico
My cousin and I did our open water training, advanced open water and nitrox and we had such a great and memorable experience every single time. Instructors are super knowledgeable and make things fun, though safety is always their priority. Chris, who manages the dive center is a pleasure to talk to and, because she is a diver herself (so is her family), she is a wealth of knowledge and awesome recommendations. Highly recommend you to explore the beauty of diving and using Sugar Land Dive as your dive shop.
Eric did an outstanding job training us for our open water certification! I never felt rushed, he was super patient with us, and made it easy to follow. Will be definitely coming back when we’re ready to get our advanced.
