What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews highlight significant issues with the pool's operating hours and accessibility, primarily due to an inconsistent requirement for three lifeguards. Customers reported misleading online schedules, found the pool closed despite advertised times, and experienced unhelpful staff when inquiring about opening status. A key suggestion was made to improve the accuracy of online schedules, particularly on Google Maps. Conversely, the facility received positive feedback for its other amenities, being described as a great place for baseball, football, and basketball games, and generally noted as nice, functional, and a good neighborhood swimming spot. A separate complaint mentioned a broken machine that remained unfixed.
Reviews
The staff seem to be collecting pay but not allowing people to swim even though they claim to be open and then @ 2:50pm, Royal told me that he is about to clock out clocking out after I questioning the employees about the misleading pool times.. Royal told me to call and ask where the nearest pool with 3 lifeguards is to swim somewhere else.. The reason why I gave this site a 2 star is #1 I came to the pool yesterday because Google Maps said the pool was open, according to the online schedule, which is different from the schedule at the pool on the door.. The pool was closed.. I came back today.. #2 When I went to the location, the staff told me that the pool area could not be occupied until there were 3 lifeguards on-site.. So the pool is technically closed.. #3 After I left, I called an hour later @ 2pm to see if there was a 3rd lifeguard at the location, and the staff told me that there was not a 3rd lifeguard on-site because there is nobody at the pool.. I told the staff that I had just left the pool and spoke to staff in person an hour ago, and I am waiting for the 3rd lifeguard so I could go swimming.. She asked me to call back in an hour or half an hour.. I believe a good solution to this issue is to trust the managing staff at the pool site with maintaining the Google Maps schedule so that they can provide accurate times for better transparency for customers, please..
