What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews cover two distinct facilities: a dog park and a community pool. The dog park is praised as a great off-leash area with separate sections for small and large dogs, offering ample space for energetic pets. However, its main drawback is poor cleanliness and maintenance, largely due to pet owners not cleaning up after their dogs. The community pool generally receives positive feedback for its clean water, affordable admission ($3 for adults), and good amenities including a kiddie splashpad, two large water slides, hot showers, and lockers (padlock needed). Staff and lifeguards are noted for being vigilant, nice, and helpful. While the pool is generally well-regarded, one specific event, the "Summer Bash," was heavily criticized for overcrowding, leading to early pool closures due to capacity issues, strict height rules for slides, and general disorganization.

This is for the dog park there not the pool. It's a great place to bring your dogs to play off leash. They have different parks for dogs under 35lbs and a other for dogs over. They have a lot of room to run around and play. It's great especially for a dog like a German shepherd or Malinois....etc. You can bring them there to burn off that extra energy. The downsides are that it could be maintained better and cleaner. Unfortunately a lot of people think that it's ok to leave their dog poop everywhere and not clean up after themselves and their pet. I partially blame the pet owners for the part not being really clean. Good place to go spend some time with your 4 legged best friend!
I'm new to Vegas and I visit the park which is close by this park and then I felt like swimming so I came to this pool and this pool was amazing
This was a cool pool (We only experienced the outdoor pool) for the community. I saw a post or few that said it was dirty well from my experience and pictures the water was very clean (July 2023). It was only $3 for adults, $2 kids 4+, and kids 0-3 free. Their card machine was down lucky my wife called in advance and knew to bring cash. The pool itself a medium size pool but enough for people to enjoy. There's a kiddie splashpad and 2 large water slides. They have lockers in the bathroom (your own pad lock needed), bring your own towels, and they have plenty of free swim vest for the kids. The foam vest in the stores are not certified so the staff will not let your child use it. Also, there's a large area in the back for a party I thought that was cool.
Nice pool, hot showers! Great facilities! We have a blast, and the life guards don't play!, lol, they are very vigilant, nice & helpful too. All their employees are! And that's the kind of place I can appreciate for my family & friends 👍👍Thank you Desert Breeze Community Center for all your hard work & care you do to make our community nicer!
The Summer Bash on June 2, 2023, 6pm-9pm was the worst we have ever experienced! We went there to celebrate my nephew's 8th birthday. It barely started & they started kicking everyone out the pool after 6:30pm because they over evaluated the capacity, they said it was for our safety. It was soo packed, lines was going to the back before they even started. Then, my nephew lost his shoes.. I think someone took it because nobody turned anything in the lost & found. And they're so strict about the kids height on who can go on the kids & adult slides. People were waiting in line & had to waste gas going there, at least give them a discount or something for next time.
