The Pool at JW Marriott Las Vegas, often referred to as the Garden Pool, is a expansive tropical oasis set amidst lush landscaping. It features multiple waterfalls, ample lounging areas including cabanas and daybeds, and offers a serene and family-friendly resort experience away from the bustling Las Vegas Strip.
The pools at the JW Marriott Las Vegas are heated to ensure guest comfort throughout the year. While exact temperatures can vary, they are typically maintained at a comfortable swimming temperature, generally ranging from the low to mid-80s Fahrenheit (approximately 26-29 degrees Celsius).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool receives mixed reviews, with many locals praising it as a 'local gem' and 'one of the best off-strip pools,' appreciating its cleanliness and less crowded atmosphere compared to Strip or community pools. Patrons highlight features like a waterfall, generous allowance of inflatables and children's toys, available food and beverages, and well-equipped cabanas (including spacious Grand Cabanas for large groups). Conversely, one review strongly criticizes the pool for being excessively noisy due to loud techno music, noting dreary and unrenovated cabanas, a non-functional hot tub, and overcrowding on weekends due to local access. The spa is mentioned as being designed for couples.
Reviews
Really super noisy because it is designed around one huge pool for families with children as well as couples. We did not enjoy the loud techno music pumped throughout the pool area and surrounding gardens. The rental cabanas looked dreary and needing renovations. The hot tub was not working at all during our week long stay. The hotel permits locals to use this resort amenity for a fee so it was always packed on the weekend.
I recommend this pool. It is one of my favorite and offstrip. I am a local and I've seen a lot of pools in this town. I can say that this is one of the best. Same goes for the spa. Spa is for couples not separate
Local Gem! Im a Las Vegas resident and this is my go to pool for the Summer. It never get as crowded as the pools on the strip, is cleaner than the local community and YMCA pools, has a waterfall, allows you to bring your child's toys/floating devices, has food and beverages to order, and you can reserve cabanas for events at an extra price. Locals pay around $20 per adult/ $10 per child. It feels like a vacation and it's just minutes from my home.
We were in the Grand Cabana for the day and had a great time. It accommodated our big group, had a large dining table and a smaller high top table, as well as a sofa coffee table, TV, misters and an umbrella. Pretty good deal
Amazing pool! They allow inflatables, a few areas of shade with trees or umbrellas, good drinks, nice waterfall, large pool.
