About

The Pool at SAHARA Las Vegas, located at 2535 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, is a lively outdoor resort pool area. It offers a refreshing escape with a spacious deck, lounge chairs, daybeds, private cabanas, full-service food and beverage options, and often features music for an energetic atmosphere.

The pools at SAHARA Las Vegas are generally heated to a comfortable temperature, particularly during cooler seasons, to ensure an enjoyable swimming experience for guests year-round. Specific degree temperatures are not publicly disclosed.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Sahara Pool offers a diverse experience, from an outstanding, well-staffed bungalow rental option to a popular, lively public pool. Bungalows, like the one rented for $350 minimum spend, provide an excellent, semi-private setting with top-notch service from staff members such as Savannah (server) and lifeguards Riley, Daquan, and Shai. The main pool, free for both hotel guests and the public, is known for its energetic Vegas atmosphere, large sports screens, and generally clean pools with ample seating, despite being small. However, its popularity and open access frequently lead to significant overcrowding, especially on weekends or during celebrity events, making it challenging to find a relaxing spot or shade without arriving early or renting a cabana. Some guests have noted the water feeling oily, steep drink prices, and expressed frustration over an early 6 PM closing time. While it's a good spot for a fun, budget-friendly pool day, it may not deliver a relaxing or exclusive experience for hotel guests.

On Monday August 11 my wife and I rented a bungalow at The Pool at Sahara. It was an outstanding experience and the price ($350 minimum spend) was very good for what we would be spending on the Strip anyways. Check in was easy and we were able to pick our bungalow. There is a nice sized pool shared between the three bungalows and private restrooms. On this day there was only one other bungalow taken and it was a small group. The staff of the pool are what made this experience memorable. Our server, Savannah was outstanding. She was friendly, quick and attentive. The lifeguards were all chatty and we enjoyed hearing about what they do and what plans they have. They are all young, but very nice. Riley, Daquan and Shai were the lifeguards we interacted with most. We will definitely be back and would recommend the pool to anyone. Our next trip is in February, so we are hoping for some warm days and the Sahara Pool.

A very popular pool that is free to the public as well as hotel guests. Due to its popularity, it does get too crowded at times. You just need to know the best time slots to visit. Do not drop in if an celebrity is in town for a concert, that's a for sure no no. The pools are small but clean and have tons of seating available. There are also large TVs that run along the perimeter of the parking garages so it allows guests to keep up with all the live sports that they most likely wagered on. I used to enjoy the pool decades ago, when nobody but old folks visited the Sahara. Times and clientele have changed for sure.

The pool at the Sahara Hotel is a lively spot that’s open to everyone—not just hotel guests—which is both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it’s great that access is free and inclusive. On the other, it means the area gets very crowded, especially on weekends. Finding a place to sit, especially one with any shade, is a real challenge unless you arrive early or splurge on a cabana (which are available for rent). It would have been nice to see a section reserved exclusively for hotel guests, just to balance things out and ensure paying customers get a bit more comfort. The bar is a solid plus—drinks are available for purchase and the vibe is fun and energetic, typical of a Vegas pool scene. However, the water itself was slightly off-putting. It felt a bit oily, which detracted from the overall experience. All in all, it’s a good spot if you’re looking for a lively pool day without spending a fortune, but if you’re hoping for a relaxing, hotel-guest experience, it might fall short.

We love going to this pool during the weekend. The drink prices are steep but you can’t beat the parking and entry for non hotel guests. The sports screens are massive with great drink service
