Love Crystal Cove and so happy it is open for the season! Very clean, friendly staff, lots of fun amenities, plenty of sun shades, great concessions stand - all at a reasonable price. The zero depth pool is great for littles and the larger pool is relatively shallow for families and to accommodate swimmers of all levels. The slides are really fun (the yellow one is super fast!) and the jumping platforms and climbing wall are a great addition for older kiddos/adults and stronger swimmers. It was worth the wait and we are excited to spend the summer at Crystal Cove!
Super fun and the staff is really nice. It is a beautiful facility and pretty well-maintained. They have really excellent zero entry pools for a little kids! Clean bathrooms, and lots of deck seating. They also have a concession stand, but I have not tried any of the food there. Five stars!
Simplistic grandparents turned the whole joint into one huge kiddie pool, even the kiddie pool is smaller. Nothing is over 3ft, though safer the slides are smaller and shorter, and the deep dive (that used to be 11 ft) is now 8! The cove is now only enjoyable to those under the age of 10. The teens who also found enjoyment swimming here were probably a second thought to the oldies who thought fixing EVERYTHING about the cove instead of just the rusty slides would be a great idea. 4.5/10 experience, the only time were not getting in a pool was funner than swimming in it.
I've always liked Crystal Cove, its especially nice now that it has been renovated. The kids area is nice and big and has some shade. There are 2 fun water slides (48"+), a water walk/floating bridge, basketball, floating animals to climb onto, a water climbing wall, water zip line, amd diving platforms. I haven't tried the food. The only complaint we have is that the water slides are 48"+, I wish they were 42"+ like Jim Lupient Water Park! Or if there was a larger water slide in the little kids area.
This place sucks. Use the new hope pool or maple grove community center instead. After I paid they told me my child cant use a life jacket unless its "coast guard approved", so its safer for her to use nothing at all? She cant swim. The life guards were really quick to scream no running at her (shes 3) but didnt give a shit about teens rough housing and pushing each other into the pool. The water is pretty cold for young children, you have to bring your own lock and the rules dont really seem to prioritize safety. Just go somewhere else if you have kids under 7
