Outdoor facility featuring a main pool with a diving board, plus a shallow toddlers' area.
The pool water at Redwood Community Pool is generally maintained at a comfortable temperature, often in the low 80s Fahrenheit (around 27-28°C), ideal for recreational swimming and aquatic activities during its operational season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool is widely praised as a fantastic, spacious, and affordable 'gem' offering traditional pool fun with a diving board and varied depths. Many appreciate its suitability for older children who dislike splash pads, the presence of numerous lifeguards, and additional amenities like a playground and sports courts, making it a chill place for friends or family. However, a notable concern for some users is the perceived overly strict and excessive rule enforcement by lifeguards, leading to children being constantly yelled at. There is also significant concern among patrons about the city's potential plan to replace the pool with a splash pad. Practical details include a separate wading pool, a rock climbing wall, and a note about the lack of family changing rooms.

First time I have been to this pool and I’ve lived in this area for 30+ years. It was fantastic!!! Lots of lifeguards on duty and so much space. Our world is such a chaotic place and this reminds me of what growing up as a could should be. Just a pool, diving board and good ol imagination having fun. We will absolutely be getting a season pass. My kids are too old and have always hated the splashy places so it’s perfect.
Pool is a decent size, with a good variety of depths. Price is also good. BUT they has SO many rules my kids could barely play or swim without constantly getting yelled at. I get the normal rules, no running no diving ect. But the life guards were WAY to over the top with constantly blowing the whistle at the kids. I finally got so sick of the life guards we left shortly after we arrived.
What a gem of a place! And the city is considering tearing it down??? To put in a splash pad?! This is ludicrous. The pool is absolutely lovely. The kids are being kids. Not enough places to hang out and GET EXERCISE. Please sign the petition to keep this pool intact.
Awesome. A chill place to hangout and swim for only 4 Dollars! If you get tired of swimming, you can go to the playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, or volley ball area! There are even more fun things to do here! Overall an awesome place to hangout with friends or family on a nice day, for a cheap price! 100% would recommend.
Separate fenced-in wading pool (parent must be present at all times even though lifeguard is there), most of the main pool is 3-4 feet deep except in diving board area. Rock climbing wall on pool edge. Outdoor pool so depends on weather. No family changing rooms, just men and women. 2 open shower stalls and 2 bathroom stalls in women's. Rest of changing area is open room with benches along the side. Good price and they play great music while you swim.
