The Franklin Splash Park, located at 1120 Hillsboro Rd in Franklin, TN, is a popular, free, and seasonal splash pad designed primarily for children aged 12 and under. Situated within Jim Warren Park, it features various interactive water elements such as water cannons, ground sprays, and tipping buckets, all set on a non-slip rubberized surface for safety. It serves as a refreshing outdoor attraction during the warmer months.
As a splash pad, the Franklin Splash Park typically utilizes unheated municipal water, meaning the water temperature is ambient and not actively regulated. Specific temperature information for the splash pad is not publicly provided, but it is generally suitable for play during warm weather conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility offers an enjoyable splash pad, slides, and pools, generally considered fun for kids and a good option for families, with many praising its excellent value for the cost. However, several reviews highlight significant maintenance issues, including features being run down or not working, and a notable problem with dead cicadas affecting children's enjoyment and willingness to use the water areas. While pricing might be a consideration for out-of-towners, the overall low cost for access to multiple water features is often seen as very positive.

It’s nice! Sort of expensive, especially for out of town people, but if you’re in the area a summer pass seems worth it. It is what it is - a little splash pad with a couple of slides, a dumping water bucket and some little water squirter things. Fun time for the kids
I went here and loved the splash pad and pools but the dead cicadas everywhere was not enjoyable. I could see kids actively avoiding certain parts of the pad because of the bodies. I think it would have been nice to have someone come out every so often to sweep away the piles in the water. My nephew didn't want to go down the slide because of them and didn't really play in the water which he normally loves to do.
So run down! Most little kid things shut down or hardly working. So disappointing.
If you want to go somewhere that the whole family will enjoy, Come here !!
A few dollars for access to indoor/outdoor pool and splash park, plus it saves me about $80,000 dollars from having to build and maintain my own, yes please.
