Public swimming facility offering a water slide.
Specific, consistently maintained pool temperatures for the Glen Ridge Community Pool are not publicly advertised. As a seasonal outdoor facility, water temperatures are generally dependent on ambient weather conditions and natural solar heating.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews largely criticize the pool's high cost, with seasonal fees ranging from $1000-$1250+, which many find exorbitant and indicative of classism or exclusivity for a "community pool." Several reviewers also express frustration over the lack of daily passes for non-members. One review suggests the high fees are necessary because the facility is not financially supported by the town. While some praise the pool itself and newer staff, a recurring visitor noted issues with an older manager being unfriendly. One reviewer, a veteran, felt unwelcome and excluded due to the pricing and atmosphere, perceiving it as a deliberate barrier for certain demographics, despite expecting an inclusive "community pool."

As a United States Navy combat veteran, there haven’t been many places (outside of the Deep South) that I’ve felt unwanted, unwelcomed and excluded from, (VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!) When I saw that it was a community pool I imagined an accurate representation of Americans but this was not the case. $1000 to swim for the season at an outdated pool is clearly the way that they keep people that look like myself away. I 10/10 wouldn’t recommend this place
Folks don’t understand how costly it is to run a facility like this. The town of Glen Ridge does not financially assist the pool and they depend on the initial and seasonal fee in order to keep it running. Yes, the first year to join is super expensive, but then the following year it’s manageable. YOU CANNOT PURCHASE A DAILY PASS IF YOU’RE A NON-MEMBER. The wording on Google needs to be changed.
No day pass and extremely pricey, over $1200 just to register sounds insane. Definitely not the place to be.
I’ve been to this place every year and always had the same experience. The staff are this year particularly better especially the newer staff however the staff that’s been there for a while particularly the older staff I believe one of the managers is not very nice. From what I’ve heard her name is Jodie, every year I come there she is the only manager that seems to have a problem with me or my family. I love coming here a lot and I hate that I’m greeted with a fake smile. the pool is great and I love going. I would love see an improvement in management over-there but aside from that the place is great! Would love to come again!
Talk about classist. $1250 is insane for a sign on fee for a COMMUNITY pool. This isn’t a country club.
