What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool facility receives mixed but generally positive reviews, often highlighted for its cleanliness, two distinct pools (including a popular kiddie pool with a slide), and free access for Jersey City residents with ID. Parking is accessible, and security is noted as friendly. While some patrons describe the environment as a harmonious "utopia" with helpful staff and diverse, well-behaved families, other reviews express significant concerns about the main pool. These concerns focus on unsupervised, wild, and disrespectful teenagers, whose parents are often perceived as indifferent, leading to rule-breaking, tension, and a less enjoyable experience for others. A minor point of improvement mentioned is the lack of chairs, and some reviews suggest that perceived 'unruly' behavior might stem from cultural misunderstandings.

The place is very nice and clean they have 2 pools. The kiddies pool has a slide. My daughter love going and it free for Jersey City residents.
The unsupervised kids at the pool are exceedingly wild and disrespectful, causing disturbances and disrupting the enjoyment of others. Many parents seem indifferent to their teenagers' misbehavior, yet they express a desire for positive changes in the environment. How can we achieve that? These youths show little regard for following established rules, leading to increased tension among patrons. Meanwhile, the pool staff continues to allow these unruly teens entry while imposing fees on adults for what seems to be an inadequate improvement in the overall atmosphere. This pool has the potential to foster a more respectful and enjoyable environment for everyone, but it requires a collective effort to implement better pool etiquette and enforce guidelines that promote courtesy and safety. Overall the kiddie pool is amazing can't say that for the bigger pool.
This pool became my kids go to for our outings.. nice and big two different sides and clean..
This is my favorite place in Jersey City and maybe in the world. The facilities are clean and the staff is marvelously helpful. I always meet more hardworking parents and beautiful children. People seem to get along very well — I have yet to see a fight or argument even though every person speaks a different language. I’m going to be silly for a moment but I think it’s utopia.
Seeing as a lot of the reviews are clearly coming from a place of cultural ignorance I thought I’d put in my two cents. The pool is clean the staff is like any other public pool teenagers ready to finish their shift. Parking is very accessible and security at the gate are cool. Obviously it’s free for residents but you need to have an id and any other adult needs the same thing or has to pay the fee. The only thing I’m gonna say I’m not fond of is the lack of chairs so I usually bring a splash pad to sit on the side. So if you’re not offended by poc being themselves it’s a great place to go!
