The location was very convenient for our needs. If you like the more traditional feel of a chandelier ballroom of course it’s a go for a wedding. I personally would not use this venue, but I did like it for a work event/meeting. There was ample parking and the food was pretty good.

Biggest issue are the showers. The doors are installed backwards so the shower blows water all over the floor. When I brought it up to the desk attendant at checkout, she said they already knew about it. She was dismissive and flipant and frankly didn't care. Not the type of personality for customer service. I mentioned I almost fell twice, and how dangerous that is, she merely smiled and shrugged her shoulders. There was 1/4" of standing water covering the entire bathroom floor, ran into hallway and covered the closet door. I paid to be a guest here. I DIDN'T pay to be their janitor. Terrible conditions, unhelpful and rude staff. Stay elsewhere. Edit: There isn't a way to reply to the reviewed business. You have my contact information as I provided it when I booked. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (If I could give 10 stars, I would!) My son got married at the Glen Cove Mansion on July 26th, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The setting was gorgeous — the cocktail hour by the outdoor pool was breathtaking, with stunning views all around. Walking down the stairs to the tent felt like stepping into a dream. I was hesitant at first about having the reception in a tent rather than the ballroom, but they made it so beautiful that I couldn’t have imagined it any other way. The food was delicious from beginning to end, and the service was outstanding. Astrid and Megan from the Special Events Department went above and beyond — they were attentive, professional, and truly cared about making sure everything went smoothly. Megan was constantly checking in to be sure everyone was happy and enjoying themselves, which meant so much. After the wedding, we continued the celebration with an after party, and once again, the setup was incredible. Everyone had a fantastic time! As a planner, I was hired by my client just two weeks before their event with no venue, no vendors, and a long list of requests in a very short period of time. Initially, I had steered my client away from booking The Mansion at Glen Cove because, truthfully, a few years ago my experiences there were a bit wonky. But this time around was an entirely different story, much, much better! The space is beautiful, the staff was kind and professional, and they accommodated our many last-minute requests with grace. Most importantly, my client was thrilled with the outcome, and that means everything. I especially want to thank Astrid and Meghan, who consistently went above and beyond—always taking my calls, getting back to me quickly with answers, and doing what was best for my client. As an event planner, I know I can’t do my job without a strong team behind me, and they truly delivered. If you’re considering hosting your event at The Mansion at Glen Cove, you can feel confident that Astrid and Meghan will take excellent care of you. I’m grateful for their support and look forward to working with them again!

The Mansion at Glen Cove is a stunning venue ideal for just about anything! What stood out most was how beautifully they’ve preserved the historical charm of the estate. The even have a history wall where you can read about it the Pratt family. They also provide you a welcome packet with more of the history, walking, jogging maps, and other information. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and well-kept, creating the perfect backdrop for weddings or special events. One of the major perks is that your entire party can stay on the property, which sets it apart from many other venues. The bridal suite is spacious and elegant, with plenty of room for getting ready. There are also cozy upstairs lounges for the wedding party to connect away from the crowd, which was a thoughtful touch. The lawn is picture-perfect for a ceremony, and the stay itself was incredibly comfortable. The beds and linens were high-quality, and the staff was warm and attentive throughout our time there. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, and more. The halls stayed quiet, even with a full house, and the atmosphere remained relaxed and elegant. The pool is a wonderful just be sure to get there early, as some seating areas are reserved and can fill up quickly. There is also a pool menu, which I will add to my review. They do not have a restaurant on property but you can order from the pool and the food was good. Highly recommend this venue for a beautiful, seamless, and restful event experience.
