Showed up with a free 3 day pass, and ended up being charged $30. I would’ve been fine with it, had the gym been clean with working machines. Most of the treadmills I ran on threw errors and were overall just extremely outdated and unreliable. I recognize financial trouble when I see it and I hope one day this place will be occupied by a company that truly provides a better product and service. TL;DR - if you’re going to charge customers for a 3 day pass, make sure the machines in your gym are in working condition. The air conditioning is so low in there that I walked out every time like I had been in a sauna. Not to take anything away from the staff, they were accommodating and very friendly considering the circumstances. This place is obviously struggling to keep the lights on. I wish you all the best, but this gym is a 100% no for me. I’ve been to other 24 hour fitness locations that offered much better amenities for the price.

I’ve had a great experience at 24 Hour Fitness in Paramus! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a wide variety of equipment. What really makes the difference, though, is the staff—especially Naomi. She’s always friendly, professional, and goes out of her way to make members feel welcome. Whether it’s helping with equipment questions or just checking in with a smile, Naomi truly elevates the atmosphere here. Highly recommend this location!

I go to this 24 every week. Broken machines and equipment take years not months years!!! to fix. Gym is dirty, dusty, unsanitary; hand sanitizer doesn’t get refilled. Basketball court has no traction. Equipment is old and outdated. Stairmasters and treadmills are constantly broken. Ill continue coming here every week.

I signed up around Jan 4, 2025. I've been trying to cancel since January, with 3 calls to the club and a request at the front desk to speak to the manager so I wouldn't be charged for the year. It's now July and still trying and willing to pay through July.. No luck. A car recently charged through the front of the club where my son usually sits when he's done working out. The club itself is not exactly clean. Half the cardio machines don't work as expected. And imagine going to the gym to clear your head when fox news the Christian Broadcast Network are the only things on the TV. When asked, the staff said they don't know who controls that but i can try if i want. Makes perfect sense, right? Overall, it's just not remotely a good experience, but wish me luck with cancelling. Edit: the response from the gym below is lip service. I filled out the contact form and still, no response. I've lost count of how many times I've reached out at this point. Let the buyer beware.

This gym is absolutely filthy. The equipment is never cleaned, the locker rooms smell horrible, and the pool is downright disgusting. There's mold in the corners, the water looks cloudy, and I've seen debris floating in it more than once. It's honestly a health hazard. I expected better for the price, but clearly hygiene and maintenance are not a priority here. Avoid this place if you care about cleanliness or your health.stay away we sign for one year I already paid and can’t cancel it, I will be sharing more pictures on Yelp
