Longtime public pool featuring a concession stand and picnic areas.
Specific pool temperatures for Wilson's Woods Swimming Pool are generally not publicly available. As a large outdoor public facility, the pools are typically unheated, with water temperatures naturally fluctuating based on ambient air conditions and sun exposure.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool offers a popular wave pool, two slides (46" height requirement), and a dedicated kids' area, all supported by vigilant and attentive staff. Facilities like locker rooms, bathrooms, and changing stalls are noted as clean and upgraded, with free parking available. While there's ample shade near the slides, the main area lacks it. The pool frequently gets very crowded, especially on weekends, leading to a sometimes rowdy atmosphere and concerns about big kids running in the pool. Food is available but often described as pricey and poor quality with long lines, making it advisable to bring your own food (only empty water bottles with ice are permitted). Other drawbacks include extremely hot pavement and sharp debris on the grass.
Reviews
This pool is great. Free parking lot, concessions, and a locker room. The lifeguards are very vigilant, and they certainly have their work cut out for them because it gets pretty crowded. The waves are super strong, but it has periods where it stops. The slides are great but just fyi the kids have to be 46” tall to use it. Not much shade in the main area, but towards the back where the slides are there is a lot of shade. You can bring your own food, but only empty water bottles with ice. The kids area is nice for little ones to get a break from the waves. Not a reflection on the facility itself but the crowd can be a little rowdy because there are a lot of tweens and teens. Expect to be splashed and bumped into because a lot of the kids aren’t aware of their surroundings. Another downside is kids can’t wear a mask that covers their eyes and nose.
I’ve been going here since I was a kid. Went back recently after a couple of years and they got some nice upgrades. Bathrooms, showers and changing stalls are clean. Pool was perfect and lots of space to lay down and relax. Food is decent but pricey
This is a beautiful pool, but is a bit smaller than the other pools, it gets really crowded on the weekends,,and I feel like the lifeguards have to pay more attention there’s a lot of big kids running inside the pool and can hurt little ones, also you can bring food in this pool so please DO.! the food here is bad and if you want even a drink you have to make the crazy line that goes so slow. So please do yourself a favor and bring your own food
My kids love, love the wave pool! They have 2 water slides, kiddie pool, food stand with picnic tables, & grassy areas . Very clean & staff is always attentive. Highly recommend!!
07/09/25. The pavement was extremely hot to walk on from the pool to the slides, picnic tables, bathrooms, and the kiddies pool. Tried walking on the grass, but the debris on the grass were too sharp to walk on. The pool gets too crowded.
