What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this pool facility are largely mixed, with some long-term patrons praising its variety of pools suitable for different ages and swim skills, its ocean views, and overall family-friendliness. However, many recent experiences highlight significant concerns. Recurring issues include serious maintenance and cleanliness problems such as rusted, deteriorating columns with sharp edges and dangling light fixtures in the concession pavilion, glass found on the ground with inadequate first aid supplies, a strong urine smell near slides, and bird poop, bee, or wasp infestations in the 'dated and filthy' food pavilion, along with generally broken or dirty upstairs areas. Operational complaints are frequent, citing overly strict or idle lifeguards, often with only one slide open leading to long waits, the diving pool being consistently closed, and the water park experiencing closures. Additional issues include crowded conditions, a lack of privacy in changing rooms, the adjacent park being overrun by campers, and some staff being perceived as 'obnoxious.' One review also mentioned appreciating the specific demographic makeup of the visitors.

Overall this pool is well-kept but some of the lifeguards are tyrants. My biggest concern is what I found on the upper floor of the concession pavilion. The metal bases of most of the columns are rusted and deteriorating. With rusty mental shards protruding. My daughter almost sliced her leg open on it. In addition, there’s at least 1 large light fixture dangling by a thread from the ceiling. One strong gust of wind and that things coming down on someone’s head! Here’s an idea…instead of paying lifeguards to stand around harassing paying patrons, let’s divert some of that money to fixing these law suits waiting to happen.
I take my grandkids here every year, never had a problem with anyone or anything. Great place to bring children, mine all have different swim skills so it’s great they can all enjoy different areas of the pools, water park area, shallow pool, diving boards & slides. I bring them lunch, snacks, drink & I'm good for the day 😜 And I love being by the Ocean as well, great views.
I just went today and it’s gotten so bad. Diving pool always closed. Water park closed and reopened. After friend step in glass. First aid doesn’t even have pliers to take out the glass. At the start of the slide smells like piss and ONLY 1 slide is open at a time. Upstairs is completely broken. Pillar destroyed tables with bird poop. Under staff every single time. Changing room does not have a door for privacy. After we left we tried to go to the park. Campers run literary everything. Can’t go without campers being everywhere.
I love it because it’s mostly European Americans. Don’t have to worry about mixing with the wrong type of people. Perfect place for Europeans to gather together as neighbors! We always meet our friends here same people that we know from our other group meetings
Too crowded, long wait for the slides because they have only one open while 8 life guards are sitting around doing nothing. The food pavilion is dated, fiilthy and infested with bees and wasps. There are crows taking dumps all over the facility. The staff here is super obnoxious. I got whistled for helping my 3 year old daughter down the stairs into the big pool.
