Best staff for the Levittown public pools and never crowded. After swimming the kids can dry off while playing at the park. Even the other businesses in the parking lot do many community events all summer long. Can't forget the free swimming lessons and aqua therapy. It's the hidden gem for our local summer hang outs!
This is definitely one of the better pools in the Levittown joint district. Set in at the North village "green", this pool has a quaint feel to it. Usually not crowded, except when there is a heat wave of course. Clean and spacious. The main pool is about 5 feet deep, while the diving board pool section is about 12 feet deep. There are three main swimming lanes plus three more shallow side lanes for kids or swimmers who aren't as advanced. The liner was also replaced with a new one last year. Friendly lifeguards who aren't overbearing either. Parking is spacious outside. A long row of parking spaces extends from Wolcott road side all the way to the beginning of Church road. Also, a nice park nearby with swings and a sandlot for families to enjoy.
It's a pool---not much to say. The pool is clean, the ice cream man tends to show up once or twice a day(which is great because now I have money, unlike in my childhood.) There are a few pokestops nearby too. Plenty of room around the pool, never seems to get too crowded. My only disappointment is how they and every other pool in existence no longer have high diving boards... :(
I have lived in Levittown from January 7, 1974 thru July 3, 1984 and I remember the Wolcott Road pool very, very well, it was three tenths of a mile near my home and it was an excellent pool, sadly the high diving boards are completely gone, this was no doubt a great pool throughout the entire summer and I had super memories at the Wolcott Road pool!
The pool is nice, but the playground needs more things for the kids 2 play on
