What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the golf course are mixed, with strong opinions on both its strengths and weaknesses. Many commend the challenging and interesting course layout, noting significant elevation changes, particularly on the front nine, and narrow fairways. The staff is consistently described as friendly and welcoming, and the practice green and chipping area are well-maintained. Some positive feedback highlights recent investments by a new owner, including clubhouse improvements, redone sand traps, new signage, and improved greens. The semiprivate membership with access to three courses at reasonable monthly dues is also a plus. However, a significant number of reviewers express disappointment with the course's overall condition, citing waterlogged and poorly maintained tee boxes, inconsistent fairways (some dirt patches), and greens that are either 'horrible,' 'saturated,' or in need of cutting and rolling. Drainage issues are also mentioned. The price of $75-$80 per round is frequently deemed too high given these conditions, with comparisons to better and more affordable local courses. Pace of play is a recurring issue, attributed to a lack of marshals, and the tight course layout raises concerns about errant balls from other fairways. Minor complaints include carts needing updates, an inconvenient lack of clubhouse access at the turn, and an unexplained surcharge.

This is a great course that used to be private but now is semiprivate. They have monthly dues that are very reasonable and give you access to 3 courses. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Front 9 has some great elevation changes and the back 9 is very challenging with some very narrow fairways. The greens and tee boxes are in good shape the fairways are a little bit firm so that may take some getting adjusted to. Quick note on the greens, they are soft and slow with very little break. You would think that putting would be easy right, not so fast. The judgment on how much speed to put on the ball is brutal. I'm not a great putter, but I leave balls short consistently on this course. One quirk about this course is you can't access the clubhouse while making the turn. So I would seriously suggest you stock up on a few beverages and food while you're out there. You can drive back to the club house but it will add about 20 minutes to your round. My compliments to the new owner. He's done a great job reinvesting in the clubhouse and course. The sand traps have all been redone they have new signage on the course, and the greens are even better.
First time playing here. Beautiful course. Nicely maintained practice green and chipping area with balls to chip with. Didn’t use the driving range, however noticed that it is a straight uphill shot when your using it. The course is very tight and holes tend to switch back on themselves so you run the risk of having an errant ball enter your fairway. There are some incredible tee boxes with tight landing zones which makes for an interesting round. Most of the major elevation changes are on the front nine and a few on the back. Gave it a four-star because of the layout and the carts. Would be nice if the holes were spread out more and not worry about getting hit by a ball. The carts could use a tune up/refresh. Staff was friendly and informative.
In general, course is in bad shape. Tee boxes were mostly water logged, some fairways were great, others were dirt. Grass on the greens needs cutting and rolling. Easy to tell the new sod around some of the greens was not laid by a professional. Not worth the $75, especially with all the other courses in the area that are better as well as cheaper. Very disappointing day on the course today.
I don’t mind paying $75 to play 18 on a Saturday morning. However, the fairways were not in good shape, they did not have a Marshall on the course, keeping pace of play appropriate, and other players frequently slow down play due to hitting out of the fairway I was playing. The tee boxes were also in very bad shape. It is also important to note that they do have a surcharge for something?? This is the second time I’ve played there and the second bad experience. The hollows is in better shape and $15 less. The positive is the layout of the course. Good combination of easy pars and narrow fairways challenging your drive.
Saturated!!!!greens were horrible How they want to charge almost $80 a round to play this mess of a course Is beyond unbelievable. I like the huge elevation changes a fun challenge. But they need to put some upgrades on this course address the lack of drainage & employee a marshall. group behind me hit right into me while im waiting for the green to clear... unacceptable!
