My kids love SwimRVA-North. Great facilities. Friendly staff. They are about to start their 4th summer camp there. They always learn a lot and have fun. AND come home tired.

I’ve been going to this pool for 20 years, I even worked there as a lifeguard early on. SwimRVA has done an incredible job taking this facility from good to exceptional. The upgrades are fantastic. I’m obsessed with the comfortable temp of the heated pool! We love all the staff. It’s relaxed and fun vibe. My toddler is enrolled in swim school and we’ve gotten so much out of that too. Again, amazing coaches who are patient and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things!

I’ve been a member of this facility since 1999 and have loved spending summers here. There are 3 pools including an adult pool, a snack bar, covered pavilion, bath house and much more. But maybe this year was the best. We have an extended season that was beginning of May through end of September, New pickle bar courts and new diving board. The parties are fun! And there’s always plenty of furniture. It’s a great place for families.

My husband and I have been members for the past three years. We’ve loved every year but the work they put into the facility for the 2024 season was such a great bonus. Heated pools for the beginning of the season gave us more opportunities to enjoy it. The additional of the basketball hoop in the pool and on the sport court is really nice, pickleball is an easy game to play while enjoying the pool day. The staff were always so friendly and nice and kept pools clean. Highly recommend if you’re in the Chamberlayne area!!

Swim RVA North is AMAZING! The pools are heated! There is an adult pool for lap swimming or floating, a diving board and inflatable “wibit” in the family pool, floats are allowed, no adult swim timeouts for the kids. There is a baby pool, new basketball court, pickleball, Gaga ball pit, snack bar, friendly lifeguards and it’s never too crowded. What I love the most is that there is diversity in the members and the emphasis for the organization is on swim lessons with a mission to drown proof Richmond. The holiday events on Memorial, July 4th and Labor Days are top notch with delicious local catering and Kona ice truck! Lastly, it’s affordable compared to other pools in the city and there was not a waitlist to join. I cannot say enough good things about this pool!
