Great amusement park. To be honest, I thought it was better than ever before. The wife & kids had a blast and we didn't even come close to seeing the whole park or riding all the rides. Went on a Saturday, and lines were not great, but they were not really bad. We will definitely be back again soon.
I spent two days at this park a Saturday and Sunday. Both days were pretty busy, but it was over spring break. Kings Dominion overall is a wonderful part with great rides and a beautiful atmosphere. The employees were nice and the part was easy to navigate. They have a wonderful collection of flat rides and roller coasters. The park offers plenty of places to rest, and there is lots of shade. they could upgrade their food and beverage options to be more plentiful. both days overall were a great experience and I would definitely come back.
First time going to an amusement park and it was definitely worth it. I had so much fun especially on the roller coasters and the wave pool. Depending on the rides, the lines weren't too crazy for some of them. Get a yearly pass is a great option, especially if u live close by because there is so much to do that you'll need more than 1 day to complete. Will definitely come back again for the rides I didn't have time to do😁
I had a great time riding the roller coasters and other rides. Staff was overall nice and cared for the security of visitors and checking to make sure we were secured in correctly on the rides. Swim park looked nice but it was to cool to swim. My visit was on a weekday and the weather was cooler than normal for this time of year granting us little to no wait times to ride. Park and restrooms were overall clean.
Prepaid parking QR code didn't work at the booth. We had to pay $35 for parking and then go to Guest Services for a refund. The refund took several days to show up. The all-you-can-eat and drink wristbands are convenient, but that is another line. So.tjere was the line at the parking entrance, the line at Guest Services, the ticket line to get in, and the line for food wristbands. All those stops before you can start to enjoy your visit. There are no more paper maps, so you have to use a map of the park on your phone. We had a couple issues with the map and had to ask employees for help with pointing us in the right direction a few times. We had two meals, both were good. The rides didn't have lines the day we went. That was awesome, and the rides were a lot of fun. The restrooms and park overall were clean.
