What are people saying (AI review summary)? Cuellar Park pool receives mixed reviews. Many visitors praise its well-maintained and clean pool area, refreshing water, and friendly, attentive staff who prioritize safety. The diving board is a popular feature, and the pool is considered a great family-friendly spot, often providing lunches or snacks for children during the summer. However, significant criticisms include unhygienic bathroom and shower facilities (dirty toilets, green/crusted showers). Some visitors are frustrated by the lifeguard policy of clearing the entire pool for 15-minute breaks every hour, with guards often not even outside. There are also complaints about inadequate supervision of children by parents, adults playing too roughly, and lifeguards being inconsistent in enforcing rules. A specific negative experience involved families being denied entry due to a strict adult-to-child ratio policy.

Cuellar Park pool is a delightful spot right in our neighborhood. My family and I visited last weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The pool area is well-maintained, offering plenty of space for both swimming and lounging. The water was refreshing and just the right temperature, perfect for the hot summer day. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring everyone followed safety rules without being overbearing. They clearly prioritize the safety and enjoyment of all visitors. The facilities, including the bathrooms and changing rooms, were clean and well-kept. One of the highlights for us was the diving board. It added an extra element of fun and excitement to our visit. The kids especially loved it! Overall, Cuellar Park pool exceeded our expectations. It's an ideal place for families seeking a relaxing day of swimming and outdoor enjoyment. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
I absolutely disliked this pool. Inside the pool was mostly clean. The women's dressing room was clean. The bathroom was disgusting apparently no one knows how to flush a toilet. The shower floor was green n crusted. They had at least 6 life guards and every hour made everyone get out of the pool so they could all take 15min breaks. When most of them were in doors n not outside. What happened to alternating life guards? Never going to public pool again even if it is free. The parents don't watch the kids properly. There's also adults who play to rough n don't watch out for other people. And yet the guards just blow whistle for people being on the rails.
We took the kids swimming and we couldn't go in because the kids there says there's a law saying you need 1 adults for 2 kids. My daughter has 5 and got denied entry cause she needed another adult. Unbelievable. I guess thy expect people to look fr adults to go swimming with thier kids . Freakn Morons. Complaint to the city.
