Park with a free pool, playground, splash pad and other attractions, including ducks.
Specific, consistently published pool temperatures for Elmendorf Lake Park Pool are generally not available to the public online. As a seasonal outdoor public pool, its temperature would naturally fluctuate with ambient weather conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the park and pool are mixed but generally positive. Many visitors praise the public pool as an excellent option for children, noting its suitable depth, splash pad, and adjacent playground. The staff is frequently commended for being attentive and friendly, enhancing the experience for both kids and parents. The park itself is appreciated for its scenic lake views, peaceful atmosphere, and opportunities for walking and running. The pool is often described as not overcrowded, free, open daily (from 1 PM), and includes a lower level with water features that gradually deepens to 4ft 6in, with hourly 15-minute breaks. However, there are significant concerns: one review mentioned the pool area being closed and lacking water on a specific date (May 31, 2025), and another detailed a highly negative incident involving an unsupervised child splashing an infant multiple times, resulting in a swollen eye, leading to criticism of parental supervision and the overall 'ghetto' perception of the area.

Park is very nice but as of today 31 May 2025 there is no water in the pool area and it’s closed so don’t bother and go there to use the water area
Great public pool. Not too deep for the little ones, also has a splash pad right next to ot along with a playground. Great spot for the kids to have a summer fun! Great place to go for a run, walk, enjoy the view of the huge lake and peaceful time ✌️
I been to almost every public pool & this one by far is my favorite one I will be coming back. Usually just my kids have fun & this time I did. Staff is also super super nice & watch the kids like hawks I could even use the rr if I wan too.
It’s a nice park but the area is ghetto. Someone’s child about 5 or 6 years old splashed my 8month old son’s face 2 times with a water filled Powerade bottle..God knows who put their mouth on that. My kid has a swollen pink eye, the mom only told their kid off once and didn’t do anything the other 2 times. Like I understand us parents wanna have fun too but keep a damn eye on your kid and DISCIPLINE them, especially around someone else’s infant. We moved our baby around other areas and shielded him with our arm but the kid or parent didn’t seem to get the memo. Do better as a parent, it’s freaking pathetic.
Yes it’s open, opens at 1pm I believe all week not sure on weekends. Not overcrowded, has a lower level with water shooting up then it goes deep little by little to 4ft 6in. They do take 15 minute break every hour, overall a good pool and it’s free.
