They turned the wave intensity down a bit, but it's still fun. My sons and I can spend three to four hours here alone. No tube ride needed for fun.
Absolutely beautiful pool. I used to come here all the time as a kid. Unfortunately this place is also where I developed my thassalaphobia. My last visit a few years back almost ended with me almost getting sucked into the 'wave making' machinery near the front of the pool. I was too close when the waves started and got pulled under as the giant panels started moving. Luckily I was pushed back out with the waves and was able to swin out, but ever since then I have a fear of deep water so thanks for that 🙃 Keep you kids out of the pan handle and a close eye on them in any pool.
Needs more shade and sitting areas.
