This pool located on JBSA-Lackland—is a fun place to take your friends and family. Access is limited to those with a CAC and their family members. There is a small monetary fee to get in (a couple buck$). We went on a Saturday afternoon. The pool opened at 12 and by 1pm it was packed. By 2pm there was already a line outside. And I can’t blame them, everybody at the pool was having a good time. The pool is well-maintained, clean water, and didn’t sting my eyes. There’s lots to do at this pool: a rock climbing wall; 2 diving boards (brave-size and superhero-size); there is a (wheelchair) ramp; and a kiddie pool (3ft) that is wonderfully shaded. There was plenty of shaded sitting areas, decent pool lounging chairs, bathrooms and changing rooms on site, and a snack bar. The vibe at the pool was fun, lively, with music and lots of laughter. There were lots of young airman, and kids, nonetheless everyone was so respectful, kind, and friendly. There is no alcohol or smoking allowed at this pool. This is probably one of the better military swimming pools I’ve seen in my time. Highly recommend checking it out. The Base gym is located right next to the swimming pool. And there is a fantastic playground within a three minute drive from the pool.

Very nice recreational pool. Has great features for people to have fun there, like, a rock climbing wall, a 3 meter and 1 meter diving board, and a slide. Apparently the slide doesn't work and the diving boards are stiff. Me, as a diver, didn't expect stiff diving boards but I still had fun. Great place to relax and have fun, but just needs a few improvements on the slide and the boards.
