Relaxed aquatic park featuring a wave pool, water slides and a lazy river, plus eateries.
Specific, real-time pool temperatures are not typically published for water parks like Hurricane Harbor San Antonio. However, water park pools are generally maintained at a comfortable temperature for guests, typically ranging in the low to mid-80s Fahrenheit (approximately 27-29 degrees Celsius) during their operating season to ensure an enjoyable experience.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The water park is highly praised for its exceptional staff, particularly the young adults, who are consistently described as courteous, professional, and effective in ensuring guest safety. Visitors enjoy the great lazy river, complete with a swim-up bar, and note that the park is generally clean, well-staffed with lifeguards, and offers fun rides with an abundance of tubes. The wave pool is highlighted as the best in Texas due to its large waves, and the park is sometimes less crowded than competitors on weekends. There's also recognition that the park has addressed previous concerns, leading to improved guest satisfaction. However, common criticisms include the need for updates, increased prices, and a perceived issue with 'nickel and diming' guests, as many amenities (like seating and certain rides) incur additional costs, contrasting with competitors who offer more free options. Some suggest more tube rides are needed, and the park can get very busy, with the Flash Pass not always being effective for all attractions.

We have season passes to everything in San Antonio so we visit a lot of parks often. I have to say that the staff here is definitely the most pleasant of all the parks - and I’m talking about the teenagers to young 20 something’s. At the water park, they often have to approach parents to get their kids to wear life jackets (or get them in the right size life jackets) and from what I’ve personally experienced and witnessed they have always been courteous and professional. That is a novel skill that is seldom seen in today’s youth and they are kicking butt at it. I wanted to recognize them and what an amazing job they are doing, because I know how uncomfortable it can be to just be doing your job and have older adults talk down to you - but the young staff here have great attitudes and simultaneously are good at their jobs of keeping kids safe. 15/10 recommend.
The lazy river was great. My favorite part was the swim up bar where I could enjoy a drink, and sit and watch my little one. This year the price increased. But, I also felt this park was way less packed on the weekend in comparison to its local competitor.
Needs to be updated but clean, lots of lifegaurds, rides were fun, lots of tubes for lazy river, always fun & relaxing
This is part of Six Flags. It's fun and entertaining, but you'll have to go on a day that's not too busy. Flash pass doesn't work, and you'll have to pay to ride the Vortex, which is their big funnel ride. Enough areas for the kids to play, but they could use more tube rides. It has the best wave pool in Texas. The waves are double the size of Splashtown and Arlington.
End of 24 season update: You guys seemed to have listened and addressed some of my previous gripes. Great job! keep it up! you've earned another star! Great water park but not without some major downsides. One being absolutely everything costs money, even finding a place to sit down costs money. Instead of focusing on nickel and diming guests, focus on enjoyable experiences and this will drive up attendance. Take a lesson from Schlitterbahn, free picnic tables for families everywhere.
