Favorite swim spot for families of all ages (and we've tried them all) in Contra Costa. Why?.... 1. Size: not too big, not too small 2. Water depth: shallow to super deep 3. Activities: diving board (standard) and splash zone 4. Amenities: vending machines, shade, tables, grass, restaurants/fun food nearby, park along the same fence line 5. Staff: friendly but firm Can't say enough and although I live closer to 3 other pools, we caravan over here multiple times per summer for full days of fun!

The swimmong pool is taking car by the Walnut Creek Arts and Rec. The regular class schedule in spring and summer season. The spray ground is a hidden gem. Parent must accompany kids in spray ground. The lifeguard is also standby for safety. Kid and one parent pays a small admission fees. The swimming pool is next to the Linsay Wildlife museum. There are many bbq picinic benches are avaialbe to rent and small kid playground. Restroom is available and parking is free.

The Larkey Park Swim Center (right next to the Lindsay Wildlife Experience) offers a lap pool and a splash pad. For the Spanish pad, you get a separate ticket ($3 per person). The splash pad included numerous fountains, water cabins, a play structure, and slides. There are several shaded tables available. Outside food and drink is allowed.

I took my nephews to the splash park and they loved it. The 7 year old played the whole time making use of the water slide and water cannon. The 5 year old just ran around in the sprayers and laid out in the sun. We went to the 10 am to 12 noon session and paid 2 dollars per person (including me) Well worth it.

There is no separate baby/infant pool but the shallowest part of the general pool is 3 feet. Spray ground for kids to run around is separate.
