Family-friendly outdoor spot featuring a lap pool, play area, diving board, whirlpool and water slides.
Specific pool temperatures for the O'Fallon Aquatic Center are not explicitly stated on its official resources. As an outdoor facility, water temperatures would naturally fluctuate based on prevailing weather conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The renovated pool generally receives high praise for its modern updates, including a fun vortex whirlpool, slides, and an inclusive adaptive playground. Patrons appreciate the family-friendly amenities like family bathrooms and a well-equipped changing area, alongside affordable snacks and kind lifeguards. However, several significant criticisms emerged. A major complaint is the severe lack of shade and insufficient seating, coupled with restrictive and confusing food policies that often force guests to sit in the sun. Other frustrations include a strict no re-entry policy, the deep end frequently being inaccessible for general swimming, and instances of rude or unhelpful staff, particularly concerning refunds for unexpected closures.

Love the renovations they did at this pool. The vortex whirlpool is a ton of fun. They have family bathrooms which is so accommodating for special needs families. The lifeguards were all kind and patient with our son who has autism. They have a snack bar(we brought our own water inside). The inclusive adaptive playground is right next to the pool with a zip line swing which is another huge plus for my son. Would definitely recommend buying a punch card or family season pass to offset the daily non resident cost. Or if they would include active duty military in the resident price that would be nice but understand it’s a business.
Nice pool with affordable snacks. Only complaints are that there is not a lot of shade which has made it hot over this past summer and you are not allowed to swim in the deep end. Wish they would close down the diving boards for a few hours so people could access the deeper water. Kind of frustrating as the deeper water is also the coolest water.
The pool is cute but there is virtually no shade and not nearly enough chairs. Food has to be kept in a concession area away from where you order it, we tried to sit in there in the shade across from the stand and were told we needed to relocate to the concession area which apparently was not where you order food, and there are only six tables there, so we were forced to sit in the sun on the ground. Whoever designed seating was obviously unaware of the number of people that would be at the pool and failed to consider people may want/need a break from the sun. If you leave for any reason, even just to run to your car they make you pay again to get back in, so be sure to take your wallet with you. It’s a really cute pool and great for kids but the pool deck and policies left a lot to be desired.
Love all the updates. Family friendly with 2 slides, a cyclone whirlpool area, diving boards, and a fantastic changing area. Nice touch with the swimsuit spinner in the dressing room.
Just walked in and they called it for a storm, no rain or anything. Would not be I’ve me a refund as I don’t go often and only offered me a week pass, which I work the entire week lol. Terrible kids working here! I’d also like to edit and add the staff is rude, asked about the deep end and swimming in it and they keep it closed off for one giving board when there’s plenty of swimming space on the other side. Hire adults not children.
