Avoid this company. I would give Zero star if I could. I echo the experience of the previous reviews on this untrustworthy company. In January 2025, we signed a contract with Hardt Custom Pools & Spas to build a residential pool. We were told the project would be completed in under 14 weeks. Per the contract, we made payments at agreed-upon milestones throughout the build_which has now been paid in full. Unfortunately, despite full payment, the pool remains incomplete. Work has not progressed in several weeks, and the Hardts no longer respond to phone calls and to text messages. To make matters worse, over the past two months, we have received notices from unpaid subcontractors--stating that they have placed liens against our property due to nonpayment by Hardt Custom Pools. We now face the alarming situation of having an unfinished pool, no communication from the contractor, and active liens on our home.

I would be very careful when considering Hardt Pools to do any work for you. Their Google reviews (they have two Google business profiles), Yelp reviews, and Facebook reviews speak for themselves. So, if you’re looking for a warranty on the work you spend your hard-earned money on, I would look elsewhere. They owe many people money, and I would guess they won’t be in business much longer. I built and managed their website, which they broke the contract on, and they haven’t paid the final balance after multiple promises to do so. Hopefully, this makes people aware before they, too, lose their money or end up with liens on their house due to this company not paying their subcontractors and also not very sub par work.

Keith and his crew did awesome total remake of our 25 year old pool including new sun shelf, travertine floor and wall accents topped of with clear view pool cage. On time and budget Highly recommend them

Not a company you want to do business with regardless of what they quote you. After paying over $118K our pool is still incomplete and the incorrect product for the pool pebble tech is something we'll be stuck with forever. The quality and integrity of the work is extremely subpar to say the least. They lied about code and engineering plans and only made adjustments when they were forced by the county inspectors. They charged us extra for decking that they were supposed to outsource but ended up doing it poorly and only were partially successful because our family expertise helped them the entire way. There's ten other complete lies coupled with poor performance that I don't have enough room to capture in this review. They are a complete nightmare of the industry, avoid at all cost. 10 months later and there's no completion date in sight.

Not sure who you guys are but I keep getting admin emails from the backend of your website which you seem to have copied from a website that I have made for a customer, I have emailed you but have had no response. Please remove my details from your website and check it as it looks like you or whoever made it for you have hacked/stolen it from somewhere. Your website is almost exactly the same as the one that I created
