Avoid Skywater Pool Service and Carlos Orozco Two years ago, I hired Skywater Pool Service, owned by Carlos Orozco, to resurface my pool and convert my chlorine system to a saltwater system. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst service experiences I’ve had. During construction, Carlos was unresponsive and unreliable. The resurfacing had to be redone because the initial job was so poorly executed. Now, just two years later, the bottom of the pool is already peeling and chipping—a clear sign of substandard workmanship. The saltwater system installation was even worse. It took over six months of repeated calls and visits just to get it working properly. Every component seemed to fail or be improperly set up, and Carlos clearly had no understanding of how to install or troubleshoot the system. It’s obvious Carlos hires cheap, unqualified subcontractors to maximize his own profit. The only service he seems to manage reliably is basic pool cleaning. If you’re considering Skywater for pool renovation or system upgrades, I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

We've been using skywater pools for a few months now and they do a great job. They're not your typical company that basically pretends to net and only stays for 2 minutes. They spend a good 10 minutes here every week +actually+ cleaning the pool and netting properly. Great company, highly recommend.

Carlos cleaned up my pool after the roofers accidentally spilled dirt into the pool. He came out immediately, fixed the problem and came out again to correct an issue. Westchase resident. Highly recommend!!

Carlos is very transparent and only does what’s needed to be done! He doesn’t try to sell you on a bunch of not needed junk. Recommend !!
