Left a comment last year , it’s summer again and the pool is literally only open for the summer and what do you know I look online it says the pool is open went up there and the pool is closed at 2pm 😂 This happens every year I’m glad I did not buy a 50$ rec pass for the year just pay 2$ WHENEVERRRRR if they everrr decide to be open matter of fact I’m about to start keeping track how many days they are closed until summer ends smh so ridiculous!!!!!

Beautiful view of McKay Bay while in the pool deck. There's a large water slide that kids who can swim in their own can go down and a small one for the kids. It wasn't over crowded when we went on a Sunday late afternoon and the life guards were paying attention, but not overbearing. Even a 2 year old has spots to play without being held by their parent.

Nice big safe pool. $4 or so single admission. Annual season pass available. No showers in locker room. Not really lockers either I believe . open about memorial day to school year begins (August) . inside Desoto park. Free parking Lot.

It really was a horrible experience simply because of the lifeguards. I used to supervisor and train lifeguards at a popular theme park and never once did I tell them to scream at children and say “can you like not float, like I don’t want to have to jump in and like save you’ . I can tell that it’s such a busy place that they have forgotten customer service but it’s really no excuse.
