What are people saying (AI review summary)? This public pool is generally well-regarded, particularly for being free, having reasonable operating hours, and rarely being crowded. Ample parking and a playground are available. The lifeguards consistently receive high praise for being helpful, nice, and accommodating, often going above and beyond (e.g., bending rules, offering assistance, teaching kids to swim); Aunty Dana, the pool head, is specifically lauded for her positive impact on children. Users appreciate the wide, expansive swimming area. However, there are some areas for improvement: the water temperature can be on the cool side, there are no dedicated lap dividers, and changing rooms are absent (users must utilize the adjacent park's bathroom). While generally accessible, one reviewer noted the lack of a handicap ramp for the main pool. Some users also wished the pool was deeper or the recreational side was larger. One review mentioned the pool being unexpectedly closed, and another noted a frequent significant police presence in the parking lot.

Great public pool with lots of schedule openings. Handful of regulars. Water temp on cool side. No lap dividers or changing room. Use adjacent park bathroom. Nicest lifeguards. Wide expansive swim.
The pool was closed when I went. Arrived for my son's basketball practice. The pool looks amazing and I would like to take my kids here one day. Maybe when COVID is over I can write a better review. Plently parking and a playground for small kids. A lot and I mean a LOT of police officers always in the parking lot.
First off.. Its free! The hours of operation is reasonable, and fit perfectly in between the day where it isnt too cold to swim. Never crowded. Parking is close and pool is accessible to those with disabilities. Also life guards are always so helpful and nice!
The lifeguards let us bring our wagon full of me and the kids things into the pool area so we could keep an eye on them. I'm sure they let us bend a few more rules as long as we weren't a safety hazard. Even offered us rubber bands for our hair when me and my niece thought that we had lost ours. The lifeguards basically rock! Just wish the pool was deeper and the rec side (not dedicated to laps) was a little bigger. No handicap ramp for main pool fyi too(not sure if one is necessary but for the sake of detail I'm letting you know).
Aunty Dana is the Pool head person and she's amazing. Always helping the kids learn to swim on their own and even jumping in the pool some times with them just for fun.
