Towers Pool is a heated outdoor swimming facility located on historic Ford Island within Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. It offers an outdoor deck with lounge chairs and umbrellas, an accessible entrance, a separate wading pool for young children, and on-site changing rooms and showers. The pool is available for lap swimming, recreational swimming, and swim lessons.
The pool at Towers Pool is heated year-round. While a specific temperature is not publicly listed, it is maintained to provide a comfortable swimming experience for its users.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the pool facility are mixed. While some appreciate it for lap swimming (noting narrow lanes, free access, hot showers, and clean towels for military personnel), and others find it fun for kids due to amenities like a rock wall and diving boards, there are significant criticisms. The pool is frequently closed on weekdays, often due to staffing issues, and there are conflicting reports on lifeguard attentiveness, with some describing them as distracted by phones while another praises an attentive lifeguard. A major point of contention is the military-only access, which frustrates non-military residents who feel they should have access as compensation for enduring aircraft noise.

Lifeguard always attentive!
Fun place for the kids. Kind of.small but rock wall and diving boards are cool.
The pool is never open on the week days. Only weekends, but half of the time it is closed since nobody wants to work. Also the life guards don’t do anything they are always on their phones. I think it should be a swim at your own risk pool.
Not a bad place to swim laps at lunchtime if you habe military base access. Free, hot showers, clean towels. Lanes are very narrow so only one person per lane typically.
Too bad you can't get in unless you're military or know someone. People that are not military put up with a lot of unnecessary noise from the military aircraft. How about giving a break to those who put up with all that.
