Family-friendly water park featuring a splash pad for children and toddlers, plus kind staff.
As a splash park, the facility does not feature traditional pools with temperature controls. The water provided is typically unheated municipal water, and its temperature is subject to ambient environmental conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews highly recommend the splash park, especially on hot days, citing it as a safe, clean, and enjoyable place for children and the entire family. Parents appreciate that children are safe from drowning and can be easily monitored due to the park's size. Kids enjoy the numerous play options and opportunities to interact with other children. Practical tips include bringing personal chairs and umbrellas for shade, and water shoes to prevent slips. A recurring point is the strict 'no outside food or drink' policy (except water) and the absence of vending machines, so visitors are advised to eat before arriving. One significant complaint involved inconsistent information from the city versus the gate attendant regarding pet policies, causing inconvenience for a visitor.

I appreciate the fact that my child(ren) won't drown. Although food is not allowed there is seating areas. You can also bring your own fold up chairs and umbrellas. There are plenty of other children for the other children to meet & play with. It is big enough for the children to have plenty to play with, yet small enough for you to be able to sit down and monitor your children.
Highly recommend on hot days. Kiddo enjoyed immensely.
The kids really enjoyed the splash park.
Beautiful and clean. My only complaint would be that I called ahead to see if I kept my puppy on a leash OUTSIDE of the water would she be able to come inside the gate with us; the city said “yes” and the woman at the gate said “no.” I sat in traffic for half an hour to end up going to Shoop in Norfolk.
Great place for the whole family. The kids will really love it and parents don't have the fear of anyone drowning. I would recommend bringing something to sit on and an umbrella or something to cover you from the sun if you won't be joining in on the fun. There aren't any vending machines and no outside food or drink is allowed (except water) so eat or drink before arriving. Highly recommend a form of water shoes because being barefoot will cause for easy slips and falls. Overall great place to relax and clear your head of all the troubles going on around us. Hope to see you there.
